When you approach your K900 and it detects the presence of the Smart Key remote, the Smart Welcome system unfolds the power-folding mirrors and turns on the integrated perimeter approach lights, door-handle lights, and interior lighting.

13. SHIFT-BY-WIRE GEAR SELECTOR*

An available sleek electronic gear selector delivers fast and smooth gear changes, thanks to advanced shift-by-wire technology that completely replaces any mechanical link between the gear selector and the transmission.

12. DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEM MULTIMEDIA CONTROL A control dial with direct-access buttons and intuitive operation provides easy access to a range of systems, including UVO Luxury Services⁴ and entertainment and voice-command navigation functions.

11. POWER-CLOSING DOORS*

If you or a passenger do not close a door completely, available power- closing doors will automatically complete the process with a soft touch, avoiding the inconvenience of having to open and close the door a second time.

10. LEXICON^®3 AUDIO SYSTEM*

An available 900-watt Lexicon^® Discrete Logic 7^®3 surround-sound system with 17 speakers and a 12-channel digital sound processor provide extraordinarily clear, balanced audio entertainment.

9. SMART POWER TRUNK

K900 features a Smart Power Trunk that opens when you simply stand within a few feet of it for three seconds with the Smart Key in your possession. This is especially appreciated when you have your hands full.

8. SURROUND-VIEW MONITOR¹*

Available Surround-View Monitor utilizes four cameras located at the front, rear, and sides to provide a view around the vehicle. This helps enhance driver visibility when maneuvering into parking spaces.

7. DYNAMIC BENDING LIGHT

For optimal visibility while driving at night, Dynamic Bending Light works with the High- Intensity Discharge (HID) or available LED headlights* to deliver a varying beam pattern based on vehicle speed and steering angle.

6. HEAD-UP DISPLAY²*

Available Head-Up Display projects information like current speed, navigation route, and lane departure warning onto the windshield glass in the driver’s line of sight. The display’s brightness adjusts automatically as outside lighting changes.

5. LANE DEPARTURE WARNING¹*

This available system is designed to detect the vehicle moving out of its lane without the turn signal being used. When it does, it alerts you with a combination of both audible and visual warnings.

4. ADVANCED SMART CRUISE CONTROL¹* Available Advanced Smart Cruise Control uses radar to maintain a predetermined distance from the vehicle directly ahead, automatically slowing or accelerating your K900 when appropriate.

3. REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT¹

Rear Cross-Traffic Alert warns the driver of cross traffic while the vehicle is in reverse by activating audible and visual alerts to help reduce the likelihood of a collision.

2. BLIND-SPOT DETECTION WITH LANE-CHANGE ASSIST¹ A radar system helps detect vehicles in the driver’s blind spot and then provides audible and visual alerts.

Lane-Change Assist helps detect vehicles approaching from behind.

This available system is designed to detect and monitor vehicles traveling ahead of you. It then works to automatically apply the brakes if it determines a crash might be imminent, helping to avoid a collision or mitigate the effects if it cannot be avoided.

Buttons on the rearview mirror provide access to selected UVO Luxury Services features such as Enhanced Roadside Assist.⁷ They also let you easily connect to a live Concierge services agent.

911 CONNECT⁸

When an airbag is deployed, a call is made to 911 using UVO Luxury Services’⁴ embedded 4G-LTE modem.

The vehicle’s location is then sent to the operator and a voice connection is made with the vehicle’s occupants.

ENHANCED ROADSIDE ASSIST⁷ Call roadside assistance by either pressing the red triangle icon on the rearview mirror, directly from the touch screen, or by selecting the number on the UVO Luxury Services⁴ app.

ACTIVE SAFETY

HILL-START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC) To help keep your K900 from rolling backward when starting off on a steep hill, the HAC system automatically holds the brake pressure for two seconds after you take your foot off the brake pedal.

BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM (BAS) If BAS detects emergency braking, based on how quickly you step on the brake pedal, it instantly applies full braking force, which helps shorten your overall stopping distance.

ELECTRONIC BRAKE-FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)

To help maintain more consistent braking as vehicle loads and weight distribution change, the EBD system automatically adjusts the front-to- rear balance of brake pressure.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) When TCS senses wheelspin during acceleration, it uses a combination of both engine power and brake force to help transfer power to the wheels that have the most traction.

PASSIVE SAFETY

AIRBAG & SEAT-BELT SENSORS This advanced system monitors the severity of certain impacts, the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and then controls airbag inflation accordingly.¹²

SIDE-IMPACT DOOR BEAMS All doors are reinforced with steel beams to help absorb impact energy and deflect side-impact force. The body’s support pillars are reinforced to help strengthen the body of the vehicle.

REAR CHILD-SAFETY DOOR LOCKS Rear child-safety door locks help prevent the doors from being opened accidentally, which is important when small children are passengers. With the doors in the locked position, they can only be opened from the outside.

ADVANCED AIRBAG SYSTEM As a first line of defense, an advanced airbag system helps protect driver and passengers with dual front, front seat-mounted side, and full-length side curtain airbags.¹²

FRONT & REAR CRUMPLE ZONES Both front and rear crumple zones are engineered to help absorb and dissipate impact energy, helping to preserve the basic structural integrity of the vehicle’s passenger compartment in certain collisions.

FRONT SEAT-BELT PRETENSIONERS Pretensioners have been designed to tighten the front seat belts in the event of certain collisions. This can help to reduce the likelihood of injuries.
