1. The FEFS ethics committee has scrutinised the draft questionnaires (one directed towards incubator managers and another directed at the incubatees) and their covering documents/letters of consent.
2. The committee is satisfied that adequate ethical attention to anonymity and rights of respondents during data collection and reporting in the general combined use of data is intended.
3. Permission has been obtained from the Director of LED, SMME and COOPS of the Gauteng Department of Economic Development, Mr Mathopane Masha, to conduct the research pertaining to the incubators under its administration.
