My findings suggest that individuals who have more sit-down restaurants in their neighborhoods report more frequent use of such restaurants than those whose neighborhood contains fewer such restaurants. My findings also suggest that individuals who live in
neighborhoods with greater neighborhood street connectivity report less use of neighborhood fast food restaurants than those who live in neighborhoods with less neighborhood street
connectivity. The results for street connectivity, showing an inverse association with fast food restaurant and grocery store use, are intriguing and point to future research to disentangle the causal pathways for this result.
