In the Battle of Badr the Muslims defeated the army of the unbelievers by the help of the Almighty God and the architect of the victory was the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) when the Muslims were in difficulty he boosted them with a vision he saw of God's victory. With radiant face, he went out to meet his men and incited them to put their faith in God and enter the battle without fear. He assured them one by one: "By Him who controls Muhammad's soul, not one of you today fights and falls but God will enter him into His paradise."

Verses of the Holy Quran which are concerned about the battle of Badr:

Chapter 8 verses

17. It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah. When thou

threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah.s: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

48. Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to

them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment."

65. O Messenger, rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are

twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.

66. For the present, Allah hath lightened your (task), for He

knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of Allah. For Allah is with those who patiently persevere.

Chapter 2

13. "There has already been for you a Sign in the two armies

other resisting Allah. These saw with their own eyes twice their number. But Allah doth support with His aid whom He pleaseth. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see."

123. Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a

contemptible little force; then fear Allah. Thus May ye show your gratitude.

124. Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for

you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down?

125. "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy

should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.

The main purpose of the Battle was not to avenge the entire plight that they had suffered from the Quraysh but God wanted to test the trust that they the companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) had in Him that is testify that there is no god except Allah.

Chapter 8

7. Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties,

that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-

but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words. The numerical value of this part of verse 7 1121 and removing the zero  77, 77 like the 70 000 darkness and light veils.

The word [

ﻪﺘﻤﻠﻛ

] kalimati meaning words in Arabic language and is written with a kalazabar as an alif and the numerical value of the word  [ﻪ ﺖ ﻢ ﻞ ﻛ] [5+4+4+3+2 plus the kalazabar (١)19] hence we get 78 letters and 78-19 = 59 and 59*191121.

595*9 = 45 like the numerical value of name Adam [ﻡﺪﺍ]. Thus man is the word of God.

The word kalimati is the key word in the verse as we do know that from the tree of the 19 lights came the elements here we

1 02

can understand that this tree is the word of God designing in form of a tree of light.

In this battle God awaken the power of the tree of the 19 lights in the heart of the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) showing the power of His word and His light, this is a great teaching for us. Their obedience to God helps them to conquer their animal instinct [ego] and they put their life in the hand of God.

God wanted to know if they were following the religion of Islam whether for worldly purpose or to follow the Holy

Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) and the teaching of God.

But Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words

this part of the verse begins with a waw [ﻭ] the waw is known as the letter of revelation with an angelic mission and in this part the waw shows that the souls of the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) were on a quest and the truth was revealed to them and this help them to understand which way they should undertake.

The numerical value of letter waw [ﻭ] is 6 and to get 6 there are different ways, 0+6, 5+1, 2+4, 3+3 or 2*3 we have the presence of six numbers [1,2,3,4,5,6] every number represents a numerical value of the six Arabic letters [

ﻭ ﻬ ﺩ ﺝ ﺐﺍ]

and these letters represent each one an elements and the six sacred names as we have seen in the first edition of my book [Spiritual and Scientific Research on Arabic Letters and Numbers].

These elements contains also a darkness and an lighted part and when they transcend from darkness to light by the help of God the behavior and the way of life of man changed from worst to good as the soul is on the quest to his Lord. God will help you whenever His help is needed as in the Battle of Badr angels were sent to assist the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ).

Chapter8 verse 17. It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah.

When thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah‘s: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

1 03

God asked the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ) to throw dust on the army of unbelievers during the battle this symbolical gesture showed us that the unbelievers who were killed would be sent to the lowest kingdom in the creation of God for their opposition to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﺹ).
