Discover the properties of essential oils, their history, closely linked to that of perfumery, how to use them, mix them and create a few simple recipes to spice up your daily life. A magic incursion into the world of aromatherapy. Reservation required according to availability of the venue and teacher.

Groups of 2 to 42 participants. Open year round; minimum age: 12.

Requisite level: beginner. Duration: 2½ hours, including guided tour.

The Galimard Perfumery organises exclusive workshops for creating perfume in the Fragrance Studio with the Master Perfumer. Create your own personal perfume + guided tour of the factory. Final personalisation (bottle and bag) plus Student Perfumer’s diploma.

•Perfume creation workshops

Venue: Studio des Fragrances, Grasse.

Custom creation of a fragrance with help from the Perfumer and assistants: comfortably placed at the perfume organ with 127 notes, guests discover the different basic products and techniques used to work with them.

Groups: 1 to 35 participants. Open year round; minimum age: 8. Requisite level: beginner; duration: 2 hours. Price: €45 for individuals.

•Exclusive workshop for creating Eau de Parfum Venue: Studio des Fragrances, Èze-Village.

Creation of Eau de Parfum (100 ml) around an individual perfume organ, with the perfumer available to assist the guest for the exclusive personalised creation of a fragrance. Each guest is provided with a broad range of rare essences. Coffee breaks and champagne included. Groups: 1 to 12 participants.

Open year round; minimum age: 10.

Requisite level: beginner; duration: 2 to 2½ hours.

The painter Henri Matisse moved into the “Dream” Villa in June 1943. He stayed there until 1949. From his first floor bedroom Matisse found the light, nature and conditions that would inspire some of his most beautiful work. He was particularly fond of his flowered terrace, magnificent garden and exceptional view of the city of Vence.

Today, Villa “Le Rêve” is an artists’ residence enabling art schools and artists to organise painting classes with accommodation by the week for groups of up to 15 people.
