I am writing to respectfully request permission to use the MAAS for my Doctor of Nursing Practice project with the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill School of Nursing. My purpose statement for my DNP project:

The purpose of this implementation and evaluation project is two-folded. 1: To assess the benefit of the use of a reliable, validated tool, such as, the Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL)

questionnaire, to help military healthcare providers self-identify risk of compassion fatigue to better manage and recover from its negative effects. 2: To determine if the use of an abbreviated Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program involving a mobile application and integrated web-based tools will help decrease symptoms of compassion fatigue and its components (stress and burnout) among a targeted military provider group.
