7.4 Comparación de resultados frente a propuestas existentes

Upon completion of COUN 6090 Supervision, students are allowed to supervise in master level practica. The following are procedures related to the doctoral students’ rights and responsibilities for master’s practica.

1. All doctoral student supervisors must attend the entire 5 hour block practicum class.

2. Practicum instructors will conduct a minimum of a 30 minute supervision session with each doctoral student supervisor each week.

3. Practicum instructors will observe each doctoral student supervisor’s individual (preferred) or triadic supervision three times during the semester (beginning/middle/end). This can be completed by:

a. Sitting in on the supervision.

b. Viewing the supervision during the 5 hour block supervision.

c. Requesting a recording of the supervision from the doctoral student supervisor.

4. Practicum instructors will complete the Doctoral Student Supervisor Evaluation after each observation and give doctoral students face-to-face feedback.

5. At the end of the semester, practicum instructors will document a master Doctoral Student Supervisor Evaluation via Tk20. Students will receive a summary of the evaluation along with de-identified feedback from practicum

supervisees.

6. Practicum instructors will designate responsibilities to doctoral student supervisors as appropriate such as: a. Active participation in large group supervision.
