4 years/ 4 años No: The student still needs to complete another year of English during 12th grade. In addition, the student needs to retake the second semester of English 9 since she previously earned a “D”.
C. Mathematics/Matemáticas
3 years/ 3 años No: The student still needs to complete another year of math during 12th grade. Please highlight that
Algebra and Geometry courses taken in middle school need to be passed with an “A” or a “B” or else students must retake course like Karina did.
D. Science/Ciencias
2 years/ 2 años Yes: The student has completed two years of science (one biological and one physical) with passing grades.
Even though Karina did not earn passing grades in chemistry, physics covered the physical science part of the requirement.
