One t h i n g t h a t m o s t people seem to ignore w h e n creating entities is the d u r a t i o n of life t h a t the entity shall have.
Therefore to avoid a n y unforeseen problems or issues t h a t m a y arise due to y o u r entity not h a v i n g a defined t e r m of life, you should consider the life s p a n of the entity. The reasons to disperse an entity can be varied. The entity m a y have completed its task or it m a y not be doing its task. You m a y feel t h a t y o u c a n handle the task on y o u r o w n a n d no longer need the entity. Whatever the reason, as long as y o u follow t h r o u g h w i t h it, you k n o w y o u are not dependant on the entity.
By defining y o u r entity's life span, you are t a k i n g responsibility for y o u r actions. It also provides closure for y o u in regards to the entity a n d its task. U n d e r s t a n d i n g the life span of the e n t i t y helps to p u t the things of the past into the past. It allows y o u to have a clear vision of the present a n d the future.
In order to determine the life s p a n of the entity, we should look at its p u r p o s e . W h a t is the entity supposed to do? Was it created for a one-time event, or w a s it created to w o r k w i t h an ongoing issue? Do y o u w a n t the entity to continue to live after t h a t specific task w a s completed, because you k n o w t h a t more of the s a m e t y p e of tasks will arise later in life? W o u l d y o u rather have this entity's exis-tence halt w i t h the completion of its task; a n d if the s a m e tasks happen later in life, build a better entity vising the lessons t h a t y o u have learned from original experience? Do y o u w a n t the entity to terminate by a specific point in t i m e regardless if the t a s k h a s been completed or not? These are
62 LIFE SPAN
all t h i n g s that you m a y w a n t to consider -when t h i n k i n g a b o u t the life span for y o u r entity.
Once y o u have figured o u t w h a t the life span of y o u r e n t i t y will be, y o u m a y w a n t to t h i n k of different t i m e references to use as y o u r m a r k e r of t i m e . For example y o u m a y w i s h t o have the e n t i t y o n l y active d u r i n g the w a x i n g m o o n a n d t e r m i n a t e o n the t h i r d full m o o n after t h e entity's creation. You could h a v e the entity's life cease o n the M o n d a y i m m e d i a t e l y after t h e entity's task h a s been completed.
An even easier w a y to determine the entity's life is to directly add it to the statement of intent. An example of this could be: Provide me w i t h the best o p p o r t u n i t y for financial security that is in a l i g n m e n t w i t h my goals, dreams, a n d desires, after doing so y o u r service to me will end a n d you shall exist no more.
If the entity is to last a lifetime, y o u m a y w i s h to have the entity terminate it's life w h e n y o u r life ceases. Even if y o u r entity is to last forever, it is a good idea to solidify t h a t in some form or fashion. This will m a k e y o u r entity have m o r e definition to its existence a n d allow for you to w o r k w i t h it in a more meaningful m a n n e r .
A n o t h e r t h i n g to consider, along w i t h the life span, is the m a n n e r in w h i c h the entity will be dissolved; a s s u m i n g , of course, that the e n t i t y will have a finite existence. This also adds to the physiological aspect of providing closure.
Some people chose to destroy the entity's h o u s i n g at the set time of dissolution. Others like to b u r y the housing.
Others like to visualize the entity dissipating into the astral plane leaving its h o u s i n g an e m p t y shell of w h a t used to be. Some j u s t t h r o w a n y t h i n g associated to the entity into the garbage. Some pull out the essential energy t h a t they've p u t into the entity, w h i c h came from themselves initially.
They destroy the link between the e n t i t y and themselves by visualizing the entity's energy c o m i n g back into t h e m .
LIIE SPAN 63
Most people find this easy since each person h a s their o w n u n i q u e energy signature. Calling t h a t energy back to yourself is simply a m a t t e r of being a t t u n e d to it. You should, if y o u so choose, come up some form of dissolution for y o u r entity w h e n the time comes for it to cease. Most agree, -when y o u t e r m i n a t e the life of an e n t i t y y o u m u s t handle this personally, either t h r o u g h absorption of energy or w i t h i n the statement of intent.
Of course this is not applicable for those entities w i t h perpetual life. However, y o u m a y still w i s h to decide on some form of dissolution j u s t in case you, or a n y o n e else t h a t you allow to, wishes to have the entity cease existence.
Usually people t h a t have p e r p e t u a l entities will p u t in a dissolution clause into the creation of the entity j u s t in case the entity—for w h a t e v e r reason—does not act according to plan. This is a s m a r t t h i n g to consider if you do decide to create a p e r p e t u a l entity.

Some say, a n d we agree, t h a t s y m b o l s are the l a n g u a g e of the deep m i n d . D r e a m s are an example of this deep m i n d language c o m m u n i c a t i o n . H u m a n s react a n d relate to symbols m o r e easily and rapidly then t h e y do to the w r i t t e n or spoken word. This is because o u r subconscious c o m m u n i c a t e s t h r o u g h a specialized form of symbolic language. Thus, u s i n g symbols allows us to c o m m u n i c a t e w i t h o u r o w n a n d others' deep subconscious m i n d s m o r e effectively t h a n m o s t other modes of c o m m u n i c a t i o n .
Symbols c a n take the form of a n y m e d i u m t h a t stands for or suggests s o m e t h i n g else. For example, the lion is often used to represent courage. Symbols can also be objects, sounds, colors, a r o m a s , or actions representing s o m e t h i n g to the unconscious mind, a n d h a v i n g subjective c u l t u r a l significance a n d the capacity to excite or objectify a response.
There are m a n y different t y p e s of symbols to choose from. The s y m b o l s t h a t have been constructed from y o u r subconscious will prove to be more "powerful" t h a n a n y other symbols t h a t y o u m a y choose to use. This is because such symbols speak directly to y o u r subconscious, as t h e y were formed a n d created there. For example an image of a cat to one p e r s o n m a y b r i n g on t h o u g h t s a n d feelings of love a n d caring, while for a n o t h e r person it m a y b r i n g t h o u g h t s of rejection a n d aggression. These t h o u g h t s a n d ideas were c o n s t r u c t e d from each person's subconscious t h r o u g h the experiences t h a t they have h a d w i t h cats. The first person m a y have only h a d great experiences w i t h cats t h a t were cuddly a n d loving, w h e r e a s the other person
