Verse 420: "The result of dispassion is correct perception, the result of the correct perception is abstaining from the pleasures of the senses and ceremonial acts. The peace that comes from the realization of truth is the fruit of the abstention of the ceremonial acts, and the pleasures of the senses. "

Upon reaching the end of the first part of this work, just with the definition of terms, methods, events and conditions that we find in our path to Samadhi.

Now the internal preparation is before us. Is it necessary? Yes, in any case, unless you belong to those few who come to this earth and in the Wisdom enlightened, having gotten the final Light glorious past. This refers to the true spiritual teachers, of which I was privileged to see one with my mortal eyes, a fact that has changed my life and that of a few others who have chosen not to share the treasures inmates who received Teacher, with this cruel world, not writing, but stay silent forever. In this way they can avoid conflict with the world, which usually attacks the precursors of human evolution trying to silence their speech.

But: "In my Father's house are many mansions ... 'And different routes leading to them.

However, there are roads to be traveled, means effort and movement. And so it is with those who want to reach the goal before others, and want to know about the first steps that must be taken in the direction of Samadhi. Concentration can be found in methods for developing internal powers, which

31

enable us to enter the Path. These consist of various forms of concentration, which is the highest of all our internal forces.

As already said in the first chapter of this book, it is assumed that the diligent student, is really about reaching the Samadhi (Supernals), performed satisfactorily Concentration Part III. This is because the Samadhi is the "feeling of Yo-Yo, but without thoughts", as taught by the contemporary master-Sri Ramana Maharshi. This means that thoughts must be deliberately excluded from the mind, before it reached the desired state of consciousness. It is a condition. But how can one who does not possess the ability to concentrate, to be successful in an attempt to cleanse the mind of thoughts? As you see, it's a vicious cycle, which always leads to the same fulero to be achieved. There are other qualities that must be developed our almost before passing the holy threshold, leading to the temple Samādhi silent. In the last chapter of Concentration di, as a subject for meditation, the seventeen "Nirvana Verses" without any further development of the same, because they belong to this work, and not the former, which is a preparation for this book.

The Samadhi makes great demands on the applicant. This means that services have to be eradicated and the basic virtues acquired. Make no mistake, these are conditions. If you have still many virtues and few negative qualities (positive qualities), it's just proof that their subtle bodies are raw, and its vibrations slow and clumsy. How can harmonize with absolute purity Supernals? You can not reach the Samadhi just because someone has shown you certain techniques used by advanced adepts, but you may not fit entirely. Remember that in the Samadhi, trascendéis humanity that is in you, reaching the state that perhaps others will take eons to get. Then, instead of being limited and conditioned as before devenís the Infinite and Absolute. What a great job this is!

Can they really achieved these heights? You can, simply because their achievement does not mean rejecting all but the veils that hide the eternal and perfect always Ātman-Ser-Spirit that is in you. These three terms are synonymous.

30

If it were otherwise, no achievement would be possible, for the Trinity, as mentioned in the last sentence, can not be created or destroyed. Realize things that are eternal, always and everywhere present, beyond space and space. This process will need deep meditation, before you enter the correct current with your consciousness, which will then reveal what I'm trying to convey in words at this time. But words can not give you the realization of that truth, only your own internal efforts. Take him out now, and read more later.

Extending this analysis, you will see that the eternal element that is in you (the Trinity just mentioned), which is your true self, can have no beginning or end. It seems easy to say but not so easy to live. Meditate again about this axiom with complete peace of mind and clarity of consciousness, and eventually you will know, as they did and make others in the path. Therefore, nothing, absolutely nothing, can change your true core, nothing can add or substantive consideration something. All yogas, exercised saints and other occult methods, operating only on the veils that envelop the Self, but never

32

about IT! He can be neither subject nor object, because only He is. All other things are shadows in space and time.

If you wish to succeed on the path, not continue reading until you have understood this truth within you, without any trace of doubt.

By the title of this chapter, we see that the first preparatory step towards our goal is justice, applied at all times and in all things. Again it is easier said than done.

First, justice should be practiced in our physical activities. Beginning with our own physical tool, the body, we must do justice to our environment. The body must carry out their functions harmoniously, then do not distract us from our ultimate goal.

At this point someone may say he's Ser-Spirit and not the body, and therefore do not want to deal with functions mayávicas (body care in the sense used recently). It all sounds very nice, but it is not reality. Who dares to utter such a phrase, which in its deepest meaning is absolutely true? Are ye independent of your body? Would not it be really affected your: consciousness by a gnawing toothache, fever, rheumatism baldante, and similar conditions? Do not ye would surely affected by bad news about your family, finances or work? Only if under such circumstances can really answer "No!" Shall be independent of all external conditions, making it no less than a Jivanmukta a Reinstated, briefly, a Being perfectly Freed. But in that case there leeríais this book, nor any other.

Therefore, I have to assume that you are not so advanced, and continue.

We have to be, as already said, in fairness to our body, giving you what you really need, no more, no less. If you do so, you will see that ordinary people usually overload their bodies with excess food and drink. This makes the shell too awkward for our purposes, disobedient, and requires much attention. Accordingly, let's construct the best models of food, sleep, movement and work for yourself. I've never heard of anyone reached the Samadhi, he ate the flesh of other creatures (at least, of the warm- blooded), or that he was a drunkard or addicted to harmful habits, drugs and others. This is the first practical suggestion for all sincere student. The occultists, who never, identify with their bodies, consider its physical counterpart as a temporary instrument, given to them to fulfill certain tasks. If the instrument is treated wrongly, may not be able to provide good service. Therefore, our righteousness to the physical shell and the world around us should be giving them exactly how much media attention and measured and necessary materials. Neither more nor less!

31

Permitidle the body only the required amount of anything: food, rest, exercise, movement, natural sports such as walking and swimming (if you like). If all this may seem terribly boring and impossible to an ordinary man, by his identification with the physical body, you require much less effort to advanced occultist, and this is quite understandable. If you can remove unnecessary and harmful habits, that's

33

only because the governing body on you. There is no other explanation. But a man who is strong "internally", does not allow such degradation. For it would be the same as if you ordered your boots where walking. The Samadhi is for those who master their bodies, and not for the enslaved.

As a very effective means for systematic cleaning impurities from the body, some occultists recommend taking Turkish baths at least once a week. The writer agrees with this, as confirmatory had experience with these baths, and has noticed the significant benefit derived from them. But they should not spend less than two hours after a meal, before taking a Turkish bath.

However, this kind of bath should not be confused with different types known as steam sauna, Russians and others, which can easily affect too strong hearts. The system uses only dry heat steam, which is harmless to anyone.

Think about this before you commit yourselves to the Sublime Path.

The second application of the Law of Justice will concern the world body and emotional (or astral). It is a complicated and difficult task, as a natural development of the first. The third try only of the mind and its plane. Here you have to give an important warning: Do not think that these things should be taken strictly in turn, that is, first the physical body, then the astral, and finally the mind. Would be a mistake, for the vast amount of time required for such a slow process. The Master Maharshi confirmed this when a visitor cited the old Roman proverb: Mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy spirit in a healthy body), implying that we are supposed to first acquire and then maintain a strong physical shell, and start try after higher things. The Sage replied with a smile: "In that case, there would be a constant care of the body."

This meant to say the absorptive care that does not allow a man no real evolutionary activities, as is the case with human nature to take care of what, according to our present point of view, is more important and dear to us. No, our efforts must be carried out simultaneously in all three directions, or, in other words, on the three planes of existence. Only then can we expect a harmonious development and maintenance of our tools, we finally got rid of them-in the Samadhi.

It's just impossible to explain this issue otherwise than in sequence, you read these instructions as divided into three parts, following each other.

Thus, the principle of justice applied to astral means the rational control of their vibrations. Under the term "vibration" in different planes, we accept consciousness operating at these levels. In short is this: one refused to allow any movements occur disharmonious (or bad) on our emotions and feelings. If we look more closely at this rule, we discover the underlying ordinary moral code, but extended and subtilized to extreme limits of possibility. Overall, the negative vibrations (the details of the student must establish by itself, it is a simple job and individual) are: feelings of anger, fear, jealousy, envy, hatred, lust, regret, despair, and all derivatives This litany malignant. They should have no part in your lives astral. What about emotions-called "desirable" as love, courage, serenity, purity of thought, and so on? Do not worry about them! Human nature is arranged in such a way that there can be no vacuum in the three worlds in which we live normally, until it reaches the Samadhi.

34

As the Samadhi is virtually the rejection and transcendence of the three. Vacuum deficiency is meant that instead of negative astral expelled vibrations must come some positive. How can this be? Just try it on you! If you destroy the hatred in you (not that I just forget, but actually you destroy without any possibility of its revival) love

32

come as a result. This is the law. And so the same with all the emotions. Someone may protest

destroyed instead of hate could arise simply indifference. Not so! Because here the "indifference again mean a negative attitude, locking in the vicious circle narrow your ego, the primary enemy of any expansion of consciousness.

Do not confuse indifference with non-attachment, which is the attribute of great souls. As I sat at the feet of the Master, I never saw any trace of indifference in his wonderful face, but only the sublime freedom of complete achievement, penetrated by spiritual compassion that radiated from him, and melting the hard outer shells surrounding the hearts of men.

Again, the effort to annihilate any negative vibrations of your astral or mental, subconscious process also means purification, technically, the departure of some more veils covering the core immortal, eternal and perfect of all being. So, how could slip something wrong inside of you, if there remains in you an entry for it?

Before reaching your goal, you have to become good psychologists, who try living manifestations in you and your brothers-both men and animals around you. But this does not mean scholastic theoretical exposure, given or accepted, of a system, of which there are still many in the world present. The hatched 'psychological systems "made by those who are not even masters of their own lives, they are useless to you. Your practical psychology should be your own, you learn during the time of a preparatory study such as this. True psychology is and can be, only found in the depths of your own consciousness of being, if we can dive to those depths.

To return to the annihilation of negative astral vibrations, the student will understand with certainty that this work can not be carried out "with bare hands." Yes, we need to do a good, sharp tools, and this is no other than power, well known to us, concentration, based on the power of will possessed. This is the pivot and fulcrum of all our endeavors. It's like the registration for a college course. This should never be forgotten. If you wish to know the final steps preceding the Samadhi, Realize then that are just special and peaceful use of concentration that allows the arrest of all the vibrations belonging to the three worlds declared. Those who have reached this point you will know what I mean. And it is a great spiritual joy to know fellow travelers who come after toiling immeasurably at the same "point" eternal, beyond which there is nothing to get. Knowing that, within some physical forms (how few at this time!) Eternal and imperishable light is already shining, and then performed there life beyond all death and suffering, the life that extends beyond all, it is-the whole.

About fifty years ago, a Sage, in faraway India, began his work sublime humanity reminding his forgotten legacy, eternal freedom of Being performed in man.

35

A man who, without seeking any glory, fame or publicity, settled during his long life in continuous state supreme Samadhi, without being hampered by his life seemingly "normal." He moved, spoke, ate and slept, without leaving, even for a second, his Sahaja Nirvikalpa Samadhi, attainable only by the Men- perfect Masters. The Mystery Achievement covering such glory, for all that we can hope to achieve now, and probably for many, many future lives, is the Kevala Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Where lies the difference between these terms almost synonymous? In the first words of these expressions: Sahaja means uninterrupted, perennial, not broken, while Kevala temporary and limited means. The difference seems to be only in the 'quantity' and not 'quality', and Master Maharshi apparently supported this idea. In speaking of the eternal and temporal Samadhis, noted that it is the mind that makes all the difference. If completely "dead" (Master's own expression) then extends throughout Samādhi in both waking and sleeping states, as well as after the abandonment of the physical body at death.

If the mind as is the case with all of us, is only temporarily subdued and compelled to silence, return to their former activities, for the internal power of a man is not enough to

33

abandon all relative, and to not take an interest in these issues (Relativity): Like an airplane, you can stay in the air only while you have enough fuel.

Those who have experienced the Samādhi know that the Master's words are true in all its simplicity. After being in Samadhi for a few minutes (sometimes even hours), we are compelled to return. There is a Power which orders that return, and nothing can resist it. I can only encourage students to read the works of Sri Ramana Maharshi in the original English translations, which are readily available from his old ashram in Tiruvannamalai, South India.

****

The most comprehensive and understandable scheme astral our behavior can be obtained from the following conception.

Imagine your emotional activities as a kind of radiation pouring out from you to the outside world. Physics You know that there are different kinds of radiation. Some like, say, sunlight, are beneficial, others, such as rare metals (eg. Strontium 90), are harmful and can cause illness or even death. If astral condescendéis in your negative feelings, such as those listed at the beginning of this chapter,

envenenáis the astral atmosphere around you, damaging astrosomas of your surroundings, and further, infecting them, like a contagious disease, thus forcing them to accept and consequently, subsequently emit similar vibrations. Do you understand the injustice of which are guilty in a case?

If you act in the opposite way, that is, if a comprehensive peace and radiate positive feelings, you add your activities to reservoir vibrations astral healthy, exercising thus evolutionary influence on your environment. There is no action without reaction, and no results without a cause. These two axioms should always keep to the inside view of every candidate for higher consciousness. Our friendly feelings directed toward our neighbors, believe in them like. It is a well known fact that humans are very

36

susceptible to such emotions, especially those created "instinctively". For example, you can enter a train or tram in which no open seats, but in which, if some passengers feel a little more together, may find place to another traveler.

You see this, but no one moves. An ordinary man feel inner indignation against the selfish passengers. In the astral light that can be seen as vivid currents of, say, red stripes. But this is not important. What really counts is the creation of negative energy currents and poisonous, by the reckless person. This is "illegal" from our point of view, and is therefore a violation of astral justice.
