Description

The counters measure the number of successful E-RAB setups for services with a specific QCI ranging from 1 to 9 for incoming handovers and the total number of successful E-RAB setups for incoming handovers in a cell.

Measurement Points

As shown at point C in Figure 1-27, during an intra-eNodeB handover the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target cell receives an RRC Connection Reconfiguration Complete message from a UE and the subsequent processing is successful. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target cell based on the QCI of each service.

As shown at point C in Figure 1-28, the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target cell receives an RRC Connection Reestablishment Complete message from a UE and the subsequent processing is successful. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target cell based on the QCI of each service.

As shown at point C in Figure 1-29, during an X2-based handover the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target eNodeB receives a PATH SWITCH REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the MME and sends a UE CONTEXT RELEASE message to the source eNodeB over the X2 interface. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target cell based on the QCI of each service.

As shown at point C in Figure 1-30, during an X2-based handover the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target eNodeB receives a PATH SWITCH REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the MME and sends a UE CONTEXT RELEASE message to the source eNodeB over the X2 interface after the RRC connection for the UE is successfully reestablished to the target eNodeB. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target cell based on the QCI of each service.

As shown at point C in Figure 1-31, during an S1-based handover the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target eNodeB sends a HANDOVER NOTIFY message to the MME. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target cell based on the QCI of each service.

As shown at point C in Figure 1-32, during an S1-based handover the corresponding counter is incremented in the target cell based on the QCI of each service each time the target eNodeB sends a HANDOVER NOTIFY message to the MME after the RRC connection for the UE is successfully to the target eNodeB. If multiple E-RABs are set up in the target cell, the

corresponding counter is incremented by the number of successful E-RAB setups in the target
