DEFINICIÓN CONCEPTUAL DE LAS VARIABLES Y DIMENSIONES Variable 1: Tienda – Almacén

In 2 Timothy 3 it describes them that live in error in the end times as having “a form of Godliness” but denying “the power thereof” (the power of Godliness which is the Holy Spirit). In verse 3 of that text he describes these people as those who “despise them that are good.”

2 Timothy 3:

“3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despising them that are good,”

When you confess your hope that you have in Christ of being “like him” and purifying yourself “even as he is pure,” it is without exception that they will despise you. They will call you a liar, erroneously twisting John 1: 8. They will speak evil of your dignity:

1 John 1: 8- 10

“8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

It's very telling that among all the scriptures this is one scripture that people can quote by heart! Many use it as an excuse to continue their life of sin!

They have concluded that since no man can say "I have no sin" (save for Christ of course) that means that no man can ever stop sinning. They reason within themselves that any man who stops sinning could then say "I have no sin,” and since anyone who says this “is a liar” it's impossible to ever reach or attain the ability to say it. Thus, they twist the meaning of John's letter to be a statement that no one can ever stop sinning and anyone who says so is a deceiver!

Yet, John, a few verses later he says “I am writing this so that you sin not.” Now, either he's lying about that and he really doesn't believe that by writing to them they will be encouraged to stop sinning, or he's insane.

1 John 2

“1 My little children, these things write I to you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the

righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

According most, ceasing from sin is not possible. They teach you are going to sin and that's why you needed the grace, that's why you needed Christ as the "advocate" with the Father. They argue that if you stop sinning you would be “earning” your salvation and that is impossible.

This is a complete lie. The only way ceasing from sin could “earn” you salvation (without any grace at all) is if you “never” sinned your entire life. If I receive Christ when I'm 30, then spend the rest of my life not sinning, have I “earned” a place in Heaven? Not if I sinned prior to receiving Christ. Therefore, walking righteous and holy after we believe is not earning your salvation. You still need grace for the years you lived in sin.

So, when they claim that walking upright in obedience would be “earning” your salvation and nullifying grace, they are gravely in error. They know better. Clearly they are experts on “Grace.” They know it's not true, they are rationalizing why they shouldn't be obedient servants of the Father. They love their sin.

They often quote 1 John 1: 8-10 then they actually jump to the last half of of the verse in 1 John 2:1 and read only this part:

And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:”

Where it says in verse 9 that he will "forgive us" and "cleanse us from all

unrighteousness," they do not think that this means he literally washes the sin away, they interpret that to mean the penalty for the sin is washed away while you keep right on sinning. You are now clean, according to them, no matter how much filth in which you roll around in the flesh.

They cannot see that when it says he "cleanses us from all unrighteousness" it means the Holy Spirit literally cleanses us from sin, through love.

Of course, it doesn't happen overnight. As the Apostle says, "not that I have already attained or that I am already perfect." (Philippians 3: 12) Yet, according to John there comes a point in the life of the believer when they are "clean" of sin. (The way a leper is examined by a priest and when it is discovered the leprosy is gone he's pronounced “clean”). This is why John writes, “...these things so that you sin not."

The unforgivable sin, therefore, is to say that those who walk Holy and perfect through the Holy Spirit are lairs (and thus of the devil). Accusing the righteous of using the trickery of the devil to make the ungodly religious doubt their religious teachings!

There, I said it plainly. John and all the Apostles saw that apostasy coming, a mile away. The falling away, whereby ungodly sinners would call the true believers devils simply because they confess faith that they can walk Holy and righteous even as Christ walked.

To say you can never stop sinning in this life and to call them that say you can, "devils," is the "sin that leads to death." John writes, "don't even pray for them." Praying for those who do this is futile, because only a child of the devil is going to say that sin is righteousness and righteousness is sin! Which is precisely what they do when they teach that they are "cleansed" by their belief in Christ no matter how they live. They call them liars, who urge them to walk Holy and sinless say the truth is “not in them.” Christ himself therefore was a liar for he said “go forth and sin no more” to everyone who was healed or forgiven.

John says, "sin not, but if any man sins we have an advocate with the Father, even Jesus Christ the righteous and he is the propitiation of our sins," here acknowledging that walking sinless and perfect in this life is a growing process. For that reason Christ provides

propitiation for our sins while we struggle to not sin!

The sin that is “not” unto death, therefore, is the sin committed in the passion of the moment and quickly confessed and repented of, while at the same time pursuing a sinless life. If a brother, a fellow believer, while struggling to live and walk in the love of the Holy Spirit, has a moment of weakness and sins and he confesses that sin and repents, admitting that he is wrong, that brother has committed a sin that is “not unto death” for he eradicates the sin, turns his back on it and admits he has no excuse for committing it. He knows he should have walked in love but did not. Such a brother is “growing in Grace.”

So, what is the difference between this and what modern Christians are teaching? It sounds the same doesn't it? We all strive for perfection but if we fail we have grace and forgiveness! The only difference between the right gospel and the false gospel being

preached today is that they conclude because they have this “propitiation,” this “grace” they “don't have to stop sinning at all. In fact they go further and put words in the Apostle's mouth, claiming he taught that it's impossible to stop sinning and that's why we were given the

“propitiation” of sins through Christ. The erroneous gospel denies that we shall ever attain to a Christlike sinless life and therefore negates the consequences for sin and teaches reliance on the forgiveness alone.

They call them liars who say we shall attain to sinless perfection! What more evidence do we need of their blasphemy? (Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit). How can they have forgiveness at all seeing that they have made forgiveness a license to continue in sin? They are abusing the forgiveness and despitefully handling God's grace. They are “taking advantage of God's merciful nature” in order to satisfy their sinful urges. How sick is that?

It is a sin that is “unto death” for they lose the sacrifice according to Hebrews 10: 26-31. The sin that is not unto death is a sin that is acknowledged and of which a man repents without making excuses that he sinned because of some "sin curse" or "sin nature" and could not "help himself." A truly repentant heart takes responsibility for their sin, does not try to "cover it up" by some blanket forgiveness and does not attempt to deny it! If a man who believes he can stop sinning somehow slips up and sins anyway in a moment of weakness, he will confess it and repent when confronted and admit that he could have gone the other way, the way of love.

When they say they can never stop sinning because of the sin curse and they cannot help themselves, their heart is not right before God. When such a person is confronted with their sin there's no repentance, there's no remorse, instead they become indignant and say, "don't judge me brother, no one is perfect!" My friend, that is a person who is committing the"sin unto death" because that person has no intention of ever ceasing from sin!

Their lack of intent to obey the Heavenly Father, spoken outright, is what makes their sin so unforgivable. They are in open rebellion to the Father of Glory and to his Son who

commanded them “go forth and sin no more.” John 8:

“11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.”

When they say they can't stop sinning in this life they are denying the faith. They are not only thwarting the ministry of the Holy Spirit but they make Christ's crucifixion null and void! He bought them with a price so that they could walk even as he walked! Christ died to destroy the work of the devil in them but they say this is impossible and they are going to be sinners until the day they die, relying on the grace, forgiveness, and propitiation.

They teach a perverted gospel. That Christ died to destroy only the "death" that sin brings, not the sin! When God sends someone to them to show them how grave is this error they do as the Pharisees did to Christ and say they are preaching a doctrine of devilish power!

Such a person can never come to the knowledge of this truth because they are resisting the Holy Spirit of God and have quenched him! Their minds are darkened and carnal and they have sold themselves back under bondage to sin, for the rest of their lives! They have no more sacrifice for sin and they are not forgiven because it was their intent all along to disobey God for as long as they shall live! Until they repent of this.

Despising Anything “Holy Spiritish” 1 Thessalonians 5: 14- 25

the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient toward all .

15 See that no one renders evil for evil to any; but always follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all .

16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophecy.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

23 And the very God of peace will sanctify you wholly; and your whole spirit and soul and body will be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful , He that calls you, He will also cause it to be. 25 Brethren, pray for us.”

The above verses tell us how we should conduct ourselves as believers in this life! Verse 23 says that God will "sanctify you wholly" so that your spirit, soul, and body shall be

preserved "blameless" all the way to the coming of our Lord! We are continually exhorted in this way in scripture that "he who called us" will "also do it." We are exhorted to "abstain from all appearance of evil."

As you will shortly see the subject of the text is the second coming of Christ. The Apostle warns the Thessalonians how it is possible to "quench the Holy Spirit" (verse 19). Quenching the Holy Spirit is done by "despising prophesy." (verse 20).

There is a whole group among the pre-tribulation rapturist teachers called "cessationist,” who say that prophecy is done away with, that it's “not for today.” In which case, they decide, 1 Thessalonians 5: 20 no longer applies to us here in modern times. If prophecy is “not for today” then those who “prophecy” today are by very definition false prophets according to cessationism, and therefore much to be despised.

Cessationists say prophecy has "vanished away" now that the Bible is finished.

So, “despise not prophecy” doesn't apply to them. They pick and choose which scriptures apply to them and which don't. Of course, they are hard pressed to explain how two witnesses prophesy in the book of Revelation if prophecy is "not for today."

There can be no prophets in the end times according to cessationism but the Bible mentions at least two prophets in the end times. They are especially hard pressed to explain the two prophets in Revelation who preach “after the rapture” because they also teach that the Holy Spirit is “removed” in the rapture and is no longer in the world. The two prophets in Revelation begin their ministry after the rapture.

Not only has prophecy ceased since the Bible was finished, according to cessationism, but the Holy Spirit has "vanished away" and we no longer need it because we have the Bible. They quote 1 Corinthians 13, a chapter which, ironically, was written to teach how “love” above all other attributes is a sure way to obtain perfection through Christ and love is “The Holy Spirit.” So, they claim the chapter says that “love” (the Holy Spirit) has “vanished away” when the chapter is exhorting us to love one another!

Instead, the cessationists try use chapter 13 to say that the HOLY SPIRIT is no longer in work.

1 Corinthians 13: 8-13

“8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

The author says "love never fails,”" but then, a few verses down says the Holy Spirit “vanished” (according to cessationists). The question of the hour is love "never fails to do what?" Love never fails to make one “perfect” eventually. That is the context. When it says “when that which is perfect is come” it's talking about our perfection in Christ.

The cessationists take it out of context and say “that which is perfect” is the Holy Bible and now that it “has come” knowledge is done away with. Here's the clincher. According to their teaching, when it says “knowledge” will vanish away, it's actually talking about the “revelatory knowledge that it took to write the Bible!”

What, pray tell, do they think is the “revelatory knowledge to write the Bible? According to the Bible itself that revelatory knowledge is, you guess it, the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1: 19-21

“19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; where unto you do well that you take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy

men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

Cessationists teach that the Holy Spirit itself has "vanished away" now that the Bible is finished. They believe that prophecy and the unction of the Holy Spirit served only one

purpose, to write the books of the Bible. The Bible is now the “perfect word of God” according to the teaching and now that which is “perfect” is come, the need for the Holy Spirit to give utterance to “Holy men of God” is “vanished away.”

In reality, they are clearly teaching that the Holy Spirit is not the perfect word of God it's only “partial” and that which is in part (the revelatory knowledge, Holy Spirit) is “done away” and makes way for the more perfect word, the Bible. In their teaching, the Holy Spirit is not perfect but the Bible is! (Even though it was the Holy Spirit who wrote the Bible).

When they read 2 Peter 1: 19-21, Christians unanimously apply it to mean "the more sure word of prophecy" is the Bible, not the Holy Spirit! Yet the very text they are reading is saying

the opposite. It's saying that the scriptures can be privately interpreted and the only way to avoid doing that is to rely on the Holy Spirit for the “more sure interpretation.”

The same Holy Spirit that moved the men to write the words of the Bible now lives in us, but modern popular teachers deny this completely, saying that the Holy Spirit “revelatory knowledge” used to write the Bible vanished away once the Bible was compiled by the Roman Catholic church sometime in 325 AD.

What's truly interesting is most of the evangelicals who preach cessationism also say the Catholic church is evil. So, the question remains, how did “the perfect Word of God” come out of an evil church?

1 Corinthians 13 reads, "when that which is perfect is come" and it's talking about we, the believers finally being made perfect in love by the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

That was the context of the entire chapter! When we are perfected in love we do not need the letter of the law to make us righteous. We no longer have need of our neighbor or our brother
