7.2.9 Supplying, fitting, fixing and painting where necessary (one coat primer and two coats of paint) 50mm floor & ceiling channels (with flanges of 32mm each and 0.55mm thick) with the help of nylon sleeves and steel screws to the floor and R.C.C. respectively. 48mm studs (with flanges of 36mm and 34mm and 0.55mm thick) are then placed at every 595mm c/c in between floor and ceiling channels. The studs are then anchored to the wall at every 600mm c/c with help of L cleats fixed to studs with nut and bolts and to the wall with metal rawl plugs. Then 15mm thick Gypboard Silt Tone Sound Smart panels having 3mm thick non woven carpet (plain) are then fixed to the studs with a suitable beading. 50mm thick glass wool shall be placed at the back side of the panels to get the required absorption.
