ESCENARIO DE REFINAMIENTO

CAPÍTULO 3: EVALUACIÓN DE LA ARQUITECTURA

3.5 ESCENARIO DE REFINAMIENTO

Knock-Out Roulette consists of combining the Knock-Out Roulette Bet Placement Method which determines where you will place each bet (always red or black in our examples), and using the Knock-Out Roulette Betting Series , which determines the amount of each bet.

Combining these two methods produces a form of Dynamic Symmetry, where each leg of the strategy helps support the complete strategy.

Here is a summary of each part of the strategy.

Knock-Out Roulette Bet Placement:

1. Always bet the Same (S) as the preceding decision.

2. If there are no previous decisions available when you start a game (such as when you start playing online), bet on red.

3. If a zero or double-zero shows, ignore it and continue betting on the same side you were betting before the zero showed.

Knock-Out Roulette Betting Series:

You will use a Betting Series to determine the size of each bet. There is a different bet amount for each level of betting. When you use $5 as your minimum bet, you will use the following betting series:

Knock-Out Roulette Betting Series for $5 Bets

Level 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Bankroll

Needed

Bet 5 8 12 20 30 40 60 80 120 375

Here are the betting rules for using this betting series:

1. Always begin a game making a Level 1 bet. If the bet wins, continue to make a Level 1 bet. If the bet loses, raise the bet one level.

2. Any time a bet loses the next bet will be one level higher. If you lose a Level 1 bet, your next wager will be at Level 2. If you lose a Level 3 bet, your next wager will be at Level 4.

3. Any time your bet wins you will reduce your bet one level. If you win two consecutive bets, or two out of three bets you will drop your bet two levels.

I am presenting several Sample Games to illustrate how this strategy works. Each of these Sample Games was taken from real roulette play and fairly represents typical games using this strategy.

Sample Game 1 Using Knock-Out Roulette Strategy

The columns in the table above are set up as follows:

No. – the number of the spin. This is for reference only.

Observed Decision – the outcome of the spin. If a B shows, this means black showed, while an R, means red was the outcome.

Where Bet Placed – shows where we wagered, where B = black and R = red.

Bet Level & Amount – shows both the bet level and the amount bet. For example,

2-$10 means we were at Bet Level 2 and we bet 2-$10.

Outcome of the Bet – indicates whether we won or lost the wager, with W standing for a win and L for a losing bet.

Net Won or Lost – the amount won or lost on one spin.

Cumulative Won – is the cumulative amount won or lost for this game.

Let’s go through our bets in this game, spin by spin.

Spin 1. We always start by betting the same as the previous decision and if no decisions were observed (as for instance in an online game where we are starting the game), we bet red ( R ). Our first bet is always a Level 1 bet so we wager $5. The wager is designated

“1-$5” in the table. Our bet loses.

Spin 2. We bet the same as the preceding actual decision so we bet on B. Since we lost the preceding wager, we move our wager up one level and make a Level 2 bet of $8, shown as “2-$8” in the table. Our bet loses.

Spin 3. We wager the same as the last observed decision and bet on R. We increase our wager one level and make a Level 3 bet of $12, shown as “3-$12.” The bet loses.

Spin 4. We continue to bet that the preceding decision will repeat. We bet on B. Having lost a wager, we increase our bet one level and make a $20 bet, shown as “4-$20.” We win the bet!

Spin 5. We bet that the preceding decision will repeat and we bet on B. Following the win of a Level 4 bet, we drop one level and make a Level 3 bet of $12. We lose the bet.

Spin 6. We bet that the preceding decision will repeat, betting on R. Following a loss, we move our bet up one level and make a Level 4 bet of $20, shown as “4-$20.” The bet wins.

Spin 7. We continue to bet on R. Since we won two out of the last three bets we drop our next bet by two Levels and make a Level 2 bet of $8. We win the wager.

Spin 8. Sticking with Red we make another wager. Following the win of a Level 2 bet, we drop to a Level 1 bet. We bet $5 on B and win.

Spin 9. We make another wager on R. After winning a Level 1 bet, we continue at this level and wager $5, shown as “1-$5.” Our bet loses. Our cumulative win is now +11 and we have won four out of the last nine bets.

Spin 10. We wager that the previous color will repeat and bet on R We move our bet up one level, wagering $8 on B. Our bet amount is represented as “2-$8.” Our bet wins.

Our cumulative win is now up to +19.

Spin 11. Since we won the previous bet we stick with the same color and bet on B again.

We drop back to a Level 1 bet and wager $5. We lose the wager.

Spin 12. We bet that the last color will repeat, betting on R. Our bet moves up one level to a Level 2 bet of $8. We win the bet. Our cumulative win is now up to +22.

Spin 13. We make another bet on R. Our wager drops back to Level 1 and we bet $5, shown as “1-$5” in the table. We win the bet. Our cumulative win is now $27

Spin 14. We bet on R again sticking with a Level 1 $5 bet. We win again.

Spin 15. We bet that the previous color will repeat and bet on R. We make another $5 Level 1 bet. Our bet loses.

Spin 16. We continue to play follow the leader and bet on B. Following the loss of a Level 1 bet we move up to Level 2 betting $8. We lose the bet.

Spin 17. We bet that the previous color will repeat, betting on R. Following the previous loss we move up to making a Level 3 bet of $12. We lose the bet.

Spin 18. We bet that the previous decision will repeat, betting on B. We increase our wager to Level 4, betting $20. We lose the bet.

Spin 19. We bet for the previous color to repeat, betting on R. We make a Level 5 bet of

$30 and win.

Spin 20. We stick with betting on R. We reduce our bet one level to a Level 4 bet of $20 which wins

Spin 21. We stick with the winning color and bet on R. Following two consecutive winning bet we drop the next wager two levels and make a Level 2 bet of $8. We win the

bet. Our cumulative win is now +45.

Spin 22 We bet repeat again placing our wager on R. Following the Level 2 win we drop our bet of Level 1, bet $5 and win. We are now up +50 for the game and we decide to call the game over with a $50 win.

This game took only 22 wagers. We won 12 out of 22 bets and won $50. Our required Game Bankroll to use this betting series is $375.

Since we won $50, we earned a return on our investment of $375 of $50/$375 or 13.33%.

If you were investing your 401(k) plan in stocks, 13.33% would be considered a respectable return for the year.

However, it didn’t take you a year to earn 13.33% on your investment. It took just 22 spins of the roulette wheel.

In a land-based game, played at 60 spins per hour, it would take you about 22 minutes to win $50. If you kept playing, your hourly win would be about $136. Comparing this to your investment of $375, you’ll compute a return on investment (ROI) of 36.26% an hour.

It gets even better when you play online. In a 300 spin per hour game, you would win about $682. Here, your ROI would be an amazing 181.87%.

I will present a couple more sample games so that you can see how Knock-Out Roulette performs. Each of these games, as well as the one we just discussed, are real games played using Knock-Out Roulette.

Sample Game 2 Using Knock-Out Roulette Strategy

Here is a spin by spin explanation of how we played this game.

Spin 1. Without observing any prior spins we always start a game betting on R Our first bet is a Level 1 bet of $5 which wins.

Spin 2. Following a win, we make another bet on R. We make another Level 1 bet of $5.

Our bet loses.

Spin 3. We bet that the previous outcome of B will repeat and wager on B. We increase our bet to Level 2 and wager $8, shown as “2-$8.” We lose the bet.

Spin 4. We bet that the preceding observed decision of R will repeat. We move our bet up one level to a Level 3 bet and bet $12 (3-$12). We lose the bet.

Spin 5. We continue to bet repeat and bet on B. We make a Level 4 bet of $20 and win.

Spin 6. We continue play follow the leader and bet on B. Following a Level 4 win, we drop to a Level 3 bet and wager $12 (3-$12). We win the bet.

Spin 7. We continue to bet on B. Since we won two consecutive bets we drop our next wager by two levels and make a Level 1 bet of $5. We win again. Our cumulative win is now back up to +17.

Spin 8. We bet “repeat” again and bet on B. We make a Level 1 bet of $5 and lose.

Spin 9. We bet the same as the preceding outcome and bet on R. Since we lost a Level 1 bet, we move up one level to a Level 2 bet, betting $8 (2-$8). We lose the bet.

Spin 10. We place our wager on B same as the previous decision. We move our bet up one level to Level 3 and bet $12 (3-$12), which loses.

Spin 11. We bet on R hoping to nail down the pattern. We move our bet size up one level and make a Level 4 bet of $20 (4-$20), which loses.

Spin 12. We bet repeat and wager on B. Our bet moves up to Level 5, and we wager $30 (5-$30) which wins.

Spin 13. We bet on B again. Following a Level 5 win, we drop to a Level 4 bet and bet

$20 which loses.

Spin 14. We bet that R will repeat. Following the Level 4 bet loss, we make a Level 5 bet of $30 (5-$30) and lose.

Spin 15. Betting repeat we bet on B. We make a Level 6 bet of $60 (6-$40) and win.

Spin 16. We wager on B again. We make a Level 5 bet of $30 (5-$30) and win. Our cumulative win is now up to +22.

Spin 17. We continue to bet on B. Following two consecutive wins, we drop our next wager by two levels. We make a Level 3 bet of $12 which loses.

Spin 18. Betting repeat we wager on R. We make a Level 4 bet of $20 (4-$20) and lose.

Spin 19. We bet that B will repeat. We make a Level 5 bet of $30 (5-$30) and lose the bet.

Spin 20. We bet the same as the previous decision and wager on R. We make a Level 6 bet of $40 (6-$40) and win.

Spin 21. We stick with the previous decision and bet on R. We make a Level 5 bet of

$30 (5-$30) and win. Our cumulative win is now +30.

Spin 22. We bet on R again. Following two winning bets, we drop our wager two levels and make a Level 3 bet for $12

Spin 23. We stick with betting on R. We drop to Level 2 and bet $8 on red. We win the bet. We check our cumulative win and see that we are up +50. We call the game

completed.

Sample Game 2 demonstrates how quickly a losing game can be turned into a winner with Knock-Out Roulette. After Spin 11, we had a loss of –28. On the next spin we turned this loss into a net win of +2. By Spin 14 we had dropped back to a loss of –48 However, from Spins 15 to 23 we won six out of nine spins which was enough to turn a

$48 deficit into a $50 win.

Let’s take a look at one more sample game. See if you can follow each play and understand why we did what we did.

Sample Game 3 Using Knock-Out Roulette Strategy

Sample Game 3 again demonstrates how quickly Knock-Out Roulette recovers from loss positions.

We lost the first four plays and by the end of Spin 4 we had a loss of –45. Our loss turned positive by the end of Spin 8 and with the exception of Spins 10 and 11, stayed positive the remainder of the game. Six consecutive wins on Spins 12 through 17 brought us up to a +37. We won three out of the next five spins which propelled our winnings to a +49.

You should understand how to use Knock-Out Roulette before proceeding further. In the next chapter we will add money management rules to the playing strategy.
