UniPrint Management Console
The UniPrint Management Console is a container for UniPrint management tools or snap-ins and is installed with each UniPrint component.
The UniPrint Management Console enables administrators to configure different settings and preferences on the UniPrint Spool Server, UniPrint Print Server and UniPrint Server. The different snap-ins enable administrators to:
• Manage all network printers from any location and change the default properties of each available printer.
• Set the default UniPrint printer settings such as image compression, font embedding, paper layout, and resolution.
• Apply UniPrint policy changes.
• Gather debugging information. If required, administrators can log information to assist with troubleshooting any of the UniPrint components.
• Set options for e-mail and saving print jobs as PDF files. To start the UniPrint Management Console on any server:
• Click Start, click AllPrograms, click UniPrint Suite and then click
UniPrint Management Console.
• Alternatively, the console (Console.exe) can be launched from the application folder, for example, C:\Program Files\UniPrint Suite\ Console.
