2005 -2007 Business Development Manager
• Developed business case and strategy for Raytheon´s entry into the cargo aircraft market and convinced senior management to pursue this new market resulting in an investment of $30M.
• Successfully negotiated, as a member of a team of 3, an international partnership with EADS (Airbus’s Parent) for the joint pursuit of the $5B+ cargo aircraft market.
• Created and executed product development, marketing, pricing, and proposal strategies to support successful placement of Raytheon radar systems into Boeing´s new F-15E aircraft leading to a new $600M business for Raytheon.
• Conducted analysis of partnership opportunities and provided recommendations leading to the successful closing of 5 exclusive partnership agreements with companies ranging from Honeywell (digital mapping and GPS) to Rockwell Collins (communication systems)
• Led pricing strategy efforts on multiple business pursuits. Built a parametric estimating model to predict the price of competitor aircraft. Presented findings to senior management and recommended levers for reducing our price resulting in a price reduction of 10%. • Worked as part of a global team of 60 individuals from 5 countries, and 7 companies to
complete a 500,000 page business proposal. Responsible for communicating our strategy, then synthesizing data from dozens of people and sources into a persuasive proposal. .
2004-2005 Senior Strategic Planning Analyst
• Executed strategic planning efforts as lead analyst for a $500M business. Developed growth strategies, performed market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
• Led the annual strategic plan project resulting in the recommendation of 10 new business opportunities for growth. Findings were presented to the company President and 4 opportunities were selected for company investment.
• Performed M&A analysis efforts for a $500M business: Researched acquisition opportunities. Led 2 acquisition pursuits through target identification and initial review and valuation. • Supported the business development executive as his staff executive: requests for

in $500,000 additional revenue, 4 abstracts and 1 manuscript and a new business line.
