13. If benefic Moon is posited in an even sign in the first house, the native has a good-looking wife.

40. If waning Moon (from the 10th to 15th house day of the dark fortnight) be conjoined with Jupiter in Virgo in the seventh house and there be a malefic in the 4th house the native would survive his wife.

42. Moon and Saturn together in the 7th house: there is little conjugal happiness. The native would survive his first marriage partner and remarry.
43. Moon and Saturn together; unless Saturn be in his own sign and well-aspected, this is not a good combination for married happiness. Wife may be sickly or Saturnine, cold and ill-tempered and matrimonial happiness is marred. If in a male nativity, Moon be in the 7th house along with Saturn and Mars and Venus be in 'varga' of Saturn or Mars and aspected by them the native as well as his wife would be adulterous (look for other indications also to confirm this point).

50. If there be a benefic in the 7th house from Moon and a malefic in 4th house from Moon, the native antagonises his mother for the sake of his wife.
51. Moon represents a mature person and in a male nativity if Moon be significator of adulterous intercourse it may show liaison with a woman (who may he young) but slightly elder in age than the native.
52. Moon shows its effect in 24th year. For example, if Moon be in the seventh house there is likelihood of marriage in twenty-fourth year of age.
Aphorisms of Mars
Mars and Venus are of prime importance. They control and expedite marriages in the case of women and men respectively. For example, a strong Mars in the horoscope of a girl enables her to get married* comparatively early whereas a strong Venus will endow her with an unparalleled charm to attract the opposite sex. In the case of a male horoscope, it is the other way round i.e. a strong Venus will endow him with women and a good looking wife ultimately and a strong Marst will give him the dash and drive to seek the company of women leading to success in love. Different effects of Mars are stated below:
1. Mars in Aries: the native is attached to a number of women. He may seduce a good woman.
2. Mars in Taurus: the native is aggressive in courtship. The native is attached to other people's wives and wholly under beloved one's control.
3. Mars in Leo; likelihood of premature death of the first consort; a handicap for conjugal happiness.
4. Mars in Libra: the person is pleasing to women folk; there is liability of the first wife dying prematurely. The native spends much money on wine and women. He is too much under the control of his lady-love.
5. Mars in Aquarius; the native is fond of drinks.
6. Mars in Aries aspected by Sun makes one endowed with

aspected by Mercury he is too much devoted to erotic arts and is given to public women; if aspected by Venus a person may be entangled in a case due to women and the income fluctuates due to spending unnecessarily on women; if aspected by Saturn the native is addicted to another person's wife.
7, Mars in the house of Venus if aspected by Sun: the native is inimical to women; if aspected by Moon he is fond of a large number of women and is liked by them.
8. Mars in the house of Mercury: if aspected by Moon, the person is rather effeminate or is in charge of girls; if aspected by Venus he carries out errands of women.
9. Mars in Cancer if aspected by Venus the person is agitated due to company of women and spends away his fortune and is in many difficulties due to his being under the sway of women.
10. If Mars is in Leo and aspected by Moon, he may get money from women or is solicited by them. If aspected by Venus he is every young and has the pleasure of company of a large number of women.
