b) Rudder Trim System is verified to operate through full travel before each departure, and
c) At completion of Trim check Rudder Trim Tab is visually verified in the neutral position, and Rudder Trim is not repositioned unless required in flight.
(0) Procedure:
1) With electrical power on the aircraft, operate rudder trim to full left and full right.
2) Have outside observer, pilot, or maintenance personnel visually check rudder trim tab movement and position.
Trim rudder as needed until trim tab is aligned with rudder trailing edge.
3) Do not move rudder trim until after take‐off.
(M) This item may be performed by a qualified Crewmember. Verify Rudder Trim System operates normally by running the Trim switches through full range and visually check Trim Tab for movement.
(M) May be inoperative provided:
a) An acceptable alternate method of securing the affected Flight Controls is developed and used, and b) Full and free movement of associated Flight Controls is verified before takeoff.
