PLANT OPERATORS & TRUCK DRIVERS GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1. Proper training, authorization and appropriate licensees are required before operating vehicles and equipment
2. Walk around your machine before you mount it
3. Make certain no one is working on, under, or close to the machine 4. Inspect your machine for potential
hazards. Fill out pre-start check list 5. Report any defect before you move
the machine
6. Read and understand all warning decals in your cab
7. Do not start a machine or move any controls if there is a danger or out of service tag in the machine
8. Seat belts must be worn 9. Make certain the area in your
direction of travel is clear of people and obstructions before moving. Use spotter if necessary
10. Never back any machine until you are certain that there is no one or equipment behind you
11. Maintain a speed that is safe for the condition of the roadway, grade clearance, visibility and traffic 12. Secure your machine against
movement before dismounting – set parking brake and lower attachments to the ground
13. Know the hand signal at site
MOUNT AND DISMOUNT
1. Before mounting the truck scrape of your boot soles to avoid slips 2. Use the steps and grab handles 3. Always face the machine 4. Use three points of contact
OPERATOR ALAT DAN SOPIR KENDARAAN
ATURAN UMUM KESELAMATAN
1. Training yang sesuai, izin atasan dan SIMPER diperlukan untuk
mengoperasikan alat atau kendaraan kecil
2. Sebelum naik berjalanlah mengelilingi mesin
3. Pastikan tidak ada orang yang bekerja pada alat dan disekitar anda 4. Lakukan pemeriksaan awal dengan
mengisi “Pre start check list”
5. Laporkan kerusakan jika ditemukan 6. Baca dan pahami semua tanda
peringatan yang ada dalam kabin 7. Jangan hidupkan mesin jika ada label
Danger Tag atau out of service tag terpasang
8. Sabuk pengaman harus selalu digunakan
9. Sebelum bergerak pastikan daerah tujuan anda bergerak bebas dari orang atau halangan, gunakan spotter jika diperlukan
10. Jangan mundur sebelum memastikan bahwa tidak ada orang atau alat dibelakang alat anda
11. Jaga kecepatan kendaraan anda aman terhadap kondisi jalan, kemiringan dan lalu lintas 12. Jaga agar alat tidak bergerak
sebelum anda turun dari alat.
Gunakan rem parkir dan turunkan semua alat ke tanah
13. Pahami isyarat tangan yang digunakan dilokasi

WARNING SIGNALS
Operator / driver of heavy equipment and support vehicle are required to give the appropriate standard horn signals as follows :
1. Before starting the engine : sound the horn once
2. Before moving forward : sound the horn twice
3. Before reversing : sound the horn three times
4. To indicate emergency / danger : sound the horn one long blast
TANDA PERINGATAN
Operator / pengemudi alat berat dan kendaraan pendukung harus memberikan kode standar berupa bunyi klakson :
1. Sebelum start : klakson satu kali 2. Sebelum maju : klakson dua kali 3. Sebelum mundur : klakson 3 kali 4. Untuk tanda bahaya : klakson
panjang satu kali

DUMPING PROCEDURE
1. Hazard to be looked for on dumps are cracking near the edge
2. Dump truck driver need to make sure the dozer operator is aware of his dump truck before attempting to proceed on the dump
3. Never back truck beyond any visible crack on the dump
4. Truck approaching the dump must make a right hand turn on the dump 5. Decrease speed when backing and
follow the spotter sign if available 6. Lower the tray to the frame before
leaving the dump area
7. Check all directions to make sure everything is safe before proceeding 8. The spotter is to ensure all operators
in the work area are aware of his presence
9. The spotter is to be in eye contact with the driver at all times
PROSEDUR DUMPING
1. Potensi bahaya yang harus diperhatikan untuk pembuangan adalah retakan di pinggir pembuangan
2. Sopir dump truk harus memastikan bahwa dozer
operator mengetahui keberadaan truknya sebelum terus maju untuk membuang
3. Jangan mundurkan truk melampaui retakan yang kelihatan
4. Truk saat mendekati daerah pembuangan harus memutar ke kanan
5. Kurangi kecepatan bila mundur dan ikuti aba2 spotter jika ada 6. Turunkan bak truk sebelum
meninggalkan daerah pembuangan
7. Periksa ke semua arah untuk memastikan semuanya aman sebelum bergerak maju
8. Spotter harus memastikan bahwa semua operator atau sopir yang bekerja didaerah itu mengetahui keberadaannya
9. Spotter harus selalu menjaga kontak mata dengan sopir
