4D volume measuring tool

Until no sufficient solution is implemented into the MVN software, the custom made Matlab tool can be used to determine the lengths of the AML and PML. This tool works in two simple steps. In the first (figure 5.18a) step de user has to draw a line perpendicular on and in the middle of the coaptation plane. At this location the leaflets have their longest length in most cases. This line will be used to calculate a slice which is shown in figure 5.18b. In step two (figure 5.18c) the user is now able to measure the leaflet lengths by putting five points on it, which gives more accuracy in curved leaflets in comparison a single line measurement.
