2.2.5 INFRACCIONES DE TERCEROS

A righteousness from God is manifested. This is a different kind of righteousness. He calls it righteousness from God is revealed.

By the deeds of the law – as they tried to be righteous by obeying the law of Moses – God said they couldn’t. They always failed. Because they broke the commandment. They broke them.

If you study Romans chapter 7 and 8 with extreme diligence, you will see that man with his fallen nature cannot keep the law no matter how he tries. An unrighteous man born with an unrighteous nature cannot keep a righteous law! (You can’t make a cat to bark. Only dogs bark.)

A man is not a thief because he has stolen. But a thief whether he has stolen or not will definitely steal because he is a thief. A thief who has not stolen is still a thief.

A sinner whether he/she has sinned or not is a sinner.

Why?

By one man Adam sin entered into the world, and death resulted because of sin. Death passed upon all men. (Romans 5:12)

When there was no law, sin was present with men but that sin was not counted against them.

(Romans 7:8)

When the law was given sin revived. Sin came into light. We got to know what sin is by the law. Example:: It is when God said Thou shalt not covet That’s how we got to know that it was a sin to covet. (Romans 7:9) So by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:20)

The law is holy, commandment is holy and righteous and good. (Romans 7:12) But the man is carnal and made a slave to sin (Romans 7:14)

Therefore even though the man is willing to obey the holy law, he fails to perform it because in him is carnality and is a slave to sin. (Romans 7:18) Why? This is the principle which fights against the man bringing him into captivity to the law of sin which is naturally in him. (Romans 7:23) He wants to but he can’t.

So the man doesn’t do what he knows is right and does the things he doesn’t want to do.

Although he doesn’t do, what he knows is right – he agrees that the law is good. Which means the man is not the one doing the evil things but the sin which lives in him. It is the sin which lives in the man that makes the man commit sin. (Romans 7:15-17 & 19-20)

The law has shown that it is the sin which dwells in man that makes him not do the right things and make him do the wrong things. So man is a prisoner of sin controlled by sin which is in him making him commit sin. What a miserable person is man? Who shall rescue him from this?

(Romans 7:23-24)

30 | P a g e Ok let’s go back to Romans 3.

Romans 3:21-22 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; (22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

This is a new kind of righteousness. It is not the righteousness that Moses

preached. It is not the righteousness that the children of Israel wanted. There is a new kind of righteousness. This kind of righteousness cannot be attained or achieved by the works of the law but by faith. (22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Did you notice? Unto all and upon all? Meaning it is given on one hand and bestowed on the other hand. This righteousness is given and bestowed upon them who believe. Genesis 15:6 says that Abraham believed God and it was credited to him for righteousness. It was set to his account. It was imputed unto him as righteousness. God spoke to him and he dared believed God so God gave it to him as righteousness.

Now the Bible is telling us that there is a new type of righteousness and yet the old one is given to us free!

Unto all and upon all. Upon all because it is credited to us. It is bestowed on us. It is imputed to us. And beyond that it is first and foremost given to us!

You’ll catch it.

Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (24) Being justified

freely

by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Notice the word freely!

Now justified means you are declared not guilty. It means to be declared righteous. The man is justified.

This guy has done all the wrong things you can think about and he is charged to God’s court and he gets there and stands in the presence of the Almighty God and God says Yeah. I’ve looked into the matter and he is not guilty. I want you to understand this. This is not the same thing as forgiveness.

Justification means that the man has been acquitted – declared not guilty. Blameless. Forgiveness is to pass over an offense. To let it go. I know you did it but it’s ok now. I will go over it and not punish it.

I’ll just forget it. That is forgiveness. But you did it. Here in justification God says You didn’t do nothing.. You look at this and the human mind can’t accept it. It’s too good to be true. How can God say you are declared not guilty?

If you declare a guilty man to be not guilty the judge who declared it is wrong. Is that right? So is God wrong? Is God unrighteous for declaring a sinner to be a man who is not guilty at all?

Alright let’s look at something. This is one of the most beautiful verses in the whole Bible.

Romans 3:25-26 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

31 | P a g e (26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

To prove God’s righteousness in this dispensation I say, that God is righteous by being the justifier of the man who believes in Jesus

To prove God’s righteousness in this dispensation I say, that God is righteous by being the righteousness of the man who believes in Jesus.

He is my righteousness. The Lord my righteousness. Do you get it?

He declares the sinner un-condemned. God remains righteous by declaring the sinner not guilty.

Anybody who justifies a sinner is unjust. If you justify a sinner or a wrong doer you are unjust. But here is a miracle. God is the justifier of the man who believes in Jesus.

Where is boasting then?

You didn’t do nothing. You just came into the courtroom and you dirty sinner. You knew you. The judge said I’ve heard the case. He’s free. Free? How? He is not guilty? Why? Because Jesus paid? NO!

NO! NO!

That will shock you now! Notice justification is so big you have to understand it.

Remember Romans 3:24 Being justified

freely

If it’s because Jesus paid, then it is not free!!!

Justification is not redemption. Redemption means someone paid for your debt or sins. This is justification.

Remember always that the lesser is included in the greater.

London is inside England. That does not mean all of England is London. The lesser is included in the greater. Redemption is included in justification. London in included in England.

Justification is the biggest one. This is the big thing in Christianity.

Redemption = delivered by paying a price.

Forgiveness = looking over a committed offence.

Remission = blotting out of sins. Wiping off and giving a clean slate.

Justification = declared that he has not committed the offence.

Go through the tape again if you need clarification. It’s worth it. Your understanding of righteousness is your greatest weapon on earth.

Now how do you get this righteousness? I’ll tell you. (24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Yes it’s connected to the redemption alright but he’s telling you that this one you didn’t pay anything for it. Hallelujah!

32 | P a g e Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

In redemption it means to deliver or to save by paying a price. The price that was paid for our redemption is the precious blood of the Lord Jesus. There is the legal side of our redemption and there is the vital side of our redemption. This is what you must understand.

The legal side – the man paid for us. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the remission of sins:

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

He bought us with a price. He bought the whole field and the field is the world and He paid the price for the whole world. Everybody! By the price of His own blood. He didn’t buy the Christians.

I’m talking about Matthew 13.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who saw a treasure in a field and when he saw that treasure he didn’t go and buy the treasure. Because if

he had offered money for the treasure the one in charge of the field would say Ahh! I didn’t know there was a treasure in my field. Why didn’t he just buy the area where the treasure is? He bought the whole field not because he wanted the field, but because he wanted the treasure. Bible lets us know that the treasure is the church and paid for the whole world. He paid for all of that to get the church. Having paid for our redemption the devil has no any claims

anymore over anybody. Anybody. Everybody now is God’s property. This is our authority in preaching the Gospel everywhere and anywhere because Jesus Christ bought the whole field. Sometimes they say Don’t convert people of other religions. Firstly Christianity is not a religion and secondly we come from the one who paid for everything. He owns everybody and so we’re telling the devil to turn them loose. Let them go because they are God’s property.

Now when you receive the Gospel and understand the legal side of redemption, and understand that the man paid for you – all of these will happen at an instant. It’s not necessarily step by step one thing after the other. You received that redemption by accepting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He died for you.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

No matter how much you pray. Save me save me! You will never be saved. You may try to repent of your sins. Salvation is not repentance. A sinner cannot repent. Jesus said to the Jews to repent because they already had a covenant with Jehovah. The others the gentiles the pagans and the heathen had no covenant with Jehovah. So how can then repent? Repent of what to where should they repent? They were estranged from the covenants of promise and alienated of the commonwealth of Israel having no hope without God in this world. (Ephesians 2:12) They cannot repent.

33 | P a g e Repentance is not in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The sinner cannot repent.

Sinner = One that is not born again. The sinner has not heard the Gospel.

Transgressor = One who breaks the law. Transgressor has heard the Gospel and rejected it.

Ok let’s get back. To repent means to turn away from the wrong that you are doing to the right. A sinner cannot from the wrong things to the right things. It is absolutely impossible for if he could he would have never needed redemption. You can just ask him to change. Jesus didn’t have to die on the cross.

The Lord Jesus said that repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name among all nations beginning in Jerusalem. (Luke 24:47) I want to explain to you what that means. Peter talked about repentance. He told the children of Israel to repent. Why could the message of repentance be given to Israel by Peter? Because Peter saw them as God’s people of the covenant. They were already in the covenant. They belonged to Jehovah and somewhere along the line they made a detour and Peter is trying to tell them Come back to Jehovah! Repent and turn away from these things and turn back to Jehovah. That’s repentance.

The sinner – one who is not born again cannot repent. Because in the eyes of God, the sinner (one who is not born again) doesn’t do right or wrong – the sinner is dead! In the eyes of God the sinner is dead.

In the mind of God what the sinner need is a new life. He cannot repent. The reason is he doesn’t have it in him to turn. He doesn’t have what it requires to turn from wrong to right. He needs a new life – he needs to be recreated in Christ Jesus. He has to be born a new. He’s got to be a new person.

So when people say We are calling Nigeria to repentance! It is an error. Nigeria as a nation has never had a covenant with Jehovah.

Let me show you God’s description of a sinner:

Ephesians 2:1-3 …who were dead in trespasses and sins; (2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (the devil), the spirit (satan) that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (3) Among whom also we all had our manner of life in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Those who are not born again are still there. I want you to know how God sees them.

Ephesians 2:12 ….without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

They are without God in this world. Do you know what it is to be without God? They may use His name. He calls them strangers from the covenant aliens. When you have a description of a sinner like this you want to preach to them. You want to tell them. The guy who is not born again and he doesn’t understand and he’s laughing he doesn’t

know where he is going? It’s not hell. Hell is not the last point of call for the sinner (one who is not born again).

34 | P a g e Hell is a place of suffering but that place of suffering will be thrown into the Lake of Fire which is worse than hell.

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Now we are near Him. We are not far away. We are not hopeless. We are not without God. We are now a family with God.

Ok let’s go back to Romans 3.

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Justification is free. It’s not that Jesus died to pay for that justification. No! We were justified freely.

When you accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life and proclaimed Him Lord over your life accepting His redemption by His blood that was legal – from that hour of your proclamation of the Lordship of Jesus over your life, satan lost his hold on you, he lost his authority over your life because you made Jesus the Lord of your life. As Jesus became the Lord over your life He broke the power off of the devil over your life. He got you out of the domain of darkness. He delivered you.

Colossians 1:12-14 Giving thanks unto the Father, who hath made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (13) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son: (14) In whom we have redemption through his blood, meaning the remission of sins:

When we proclaim the name of Jesus over our lives for our salvation we were transferred by our Lord Jesus from the power of darkness into that Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom of God we are given what it takes to live in the Kingdom of God. The life of Almighty God is imparted to our spirits as soon as we come into His Kingdom we do not come in as servants, or as slaves, or as sinners for no sinner can be found in His kingdom. He brought

35 | P a g e us in as His children and gave us life. For which cause now Jesus the first begotten of the Father who is now our elder brother literary is not ashamed to call us brethren. (Hebrews 2:11)

Jesus = Child of the Holy Spirit born of a virgin. (0 to 30 years)

Jesus Christ = Anointed one or the Messiah. When John the Baptist laid hands on Him the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus. (30 to 33 years)

Christ = Jesus Christ and the church which is the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the head and the church is the body.

NOTE:

 Jesus Christ on the cross as the lamb sacrifice.

 Jesus Christ raised from the dead as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Jesus Christ was born again.

(Acts 13:33) proved to be the Son of God by the resurrection of the dead. (Romans 1:4)

 We are now one family. Some are in heaven and some are on earth. (Ephesians 3:15) This spiritual place is called Zion. Heaven is in Zion. Heaven is a place in Zion.

When a man is in Christ. Christ is also the name of that Kingdom. It is also called Zion. As Christ is the name of the one who saved us. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
