This error might occur for any of the following reasons:
n Reason #1: Intergraph CAS HL is not attached to this computer.
n Reason #2: Network Intergraph CAS HL is not attached to any computer on the network.
n Reason #3: Intergraph CAS HL is attached to this computer but it is not authorized to run this program.
n Reason #4: Two Intergraph CAS HLs are attached to this computer. CADWorx only reads data from one local
hardware lock. Please remove one of the hardware locks and try again.
n Reason #5: Network Intergraph CAS HL is attached to a computer on the network, but it is not authorized to run
this program.
n Reason #6: Network Intergraph CAS HL is attached to a computer on the network, but exceeded the maximum
number of licenses allowed.
n Reason #7: Network Intergraph CAS HL is attached to a computer on the network, but the client computer is not
configured to access the network lock.
For reasons #1 and #2, make sure you have an Intergraph CAS Hardware Lock. Intergraph CAS uses both HL and HASP for licensing. To determine the type of hardware lock you have, refer CADWorx Hardware Lock Identification. For reasons #3, #4, #5, and #6, run Pulse located in the [Product Folder ]\Utilities folder. This utility displays a list of authorized Intergraph CAS applications that can run on the Intergraph CAS HL. For reason #6, you can also install and runNetHASPMonitorSetup.exe located in the [Product Folder ]\Utilities folder. This utility will display the details of licenses checked out from a network lock.
For reason #7, you might need to modify the NETHASP.INI file on the client computer. For detailed instructions on how to modify the NETHASP.INI file, refer Network Lock Installation.
