As we all are aware Sun and Moon are two luminaries and they are connected with our Ida and Pingala nadis. When we are inhaling the breath, along with oxygen, we are inhaling the life force from Sun and Moon. From Sun we receive the real life force containing the Pran Tatva directly and from Moon we receive the cosmic force interacted with all other planets. After inhalation the Oxygen is going to the lungs and thereby to the unpurified blood for purification whereas the cosmic force of different planets inhaled is going to the seven chakras in our body situated within Nadis in the spinal cord through Medulla Oblongata. All the seven chakras are controlled by main 7 planets and the inhaled cosmic force is distributed amongst these Chakras. The lowest chakra of red colour called Mooladhar chakra is beneath the spinal cord and above the sex organ, is controlled by Mercury. The second orange chakra called Swadhisthan is between the first Mooladhar chakra and the third Manipur chakra. This is controlled by Venus. The third Manipur chakra having its yellow colour is at the naval point and ruled by Sun himself where Sun’s life force is attracted after inhalation. It is generating electricity, heat and energy to our different systems of the body to run the life. Sun is at the center point and the lower two planets Mercury and Venus are inner planets in the sky. They are controlling our five senses viz. Roop, Ras, Sparsh, Gandh and Swaad. Unless and until the Kundalini is reached to this third Manipur chakra, a person cannot enjoy the real peace of Atman or Brahma. A meditation will uplift the Kundalini towards this chakra to get the solar power and once it is reached to this chakra, the person will be attracted towards Meditation practice permanently after enjoying the real calm there.

The fourth green chakra is called as Anahat Chakra ruled by Moon herself. This is the chakra situated at heart position and all the feelings, love, hatred, liking, disliking, calmness, selfishness, anger, emotions etc lying here under direct control of Moon. A man can weep from here, laugh from here, enjoy from here and meditate the God here on the lotus petals. Yes, this is the main center where mind is interacting with outer forces inhaled through Moon. This is called as kshetra, the seat of God described in Bhagvad Gita.This chakra is within the Cancer sign whereas lower third Manipur is within the jurisdiction of Leo sign. The remaining cosmic force will be attracted at different chakras by different planets.

Other three are fifth Vishuddha chakra of blue colour controlled by Mars at the throat location in the body, sixth indigo coloured Agnya chakra ruled by Jupiter between the two eyes but back side within Aquarius and the seventh violet coloured Sahasrar Chakra ruled by the great renunciated and detached planet Saturn at Pisces location. Jupiter and Saturn are outer planets and pushing the soul towards the ultimate goal of an individual, the Moksha. Mars, though outer planet, is giving current from Aries remaining at Medulla Oblongata in the head to activate the whole respiration system through the first upper chakra at throat portion.

The cosmic force is entering through gateway of Medulla Oblongata during inhalation and thereby going to Nadis and chakras. Neurons in the brain will interact with these forces through our nerves well connected with all the chakras and this way different ideas and desires are produced which are creating psychic energy constantly in our mind or chitta, a Sanskrit word of Patanjali Yoga.

Please remember that our Moon is signifying our mind. Our personal Moon controls the complete network of chakras and neurons. Strong Moon at the birth time will response differently with the outer forces than Weak Moon. Sun and Moon can go through all the seven chakras and interact with all the different forces of the planets stored in the concerned chakras.

From Mooladhar Chakra to that Sahasrar Chakra the complete zodiac of the sky is fixed in our body and all the Signs and stars are distributed within these Nadis or seven chakras zone at the time of one’s birth. This personal zodiac controls all the systems of the physical body. This personal zodiac designed at the time of a birth, controls the secretion of different hormones from the glands in the body.

It will be interesting to know that all the planets are distributed between Rahu and Ketu. Rahu is placed at bottom in the first Mooladhar Chakra, under the control of Mercury, the planet of intellect or communication and the controller of three senses of Sparsh, Swaad and Gandh too. Mercury is the controller of complete respiration system and this way he is empowered to move freely over the personal zodiac like Sun and Moon, with his analytical mind and intellect to understand the cosmic forces. Rahu is reaching up to second chakra to meet Venus and dwelling there up to the 16th year of one’s age. Rahu is coming in touch with two other senses of Roop, the beauty of the world and Ras, the worldly pleasures including sex impulses there. This way Mercury and Venus are the best friends of Rahu who are giving sensual pleasure to Rahu.

These two chakras are the hot seats of Rahu and he remains there for years to enjoy the life with the company of Mercury and Venus and generally does not allow the person to go to Manipur Chakra as Sun is his Great enemy but if a person is reached to this Manipur chakra of Sun by grace of God or by his Karmic force or by Meditation, the individual will try to relieve himself from this Moha and Maya of Rahu. The story is very different for Ketu who is located at the top and last chakra i.e. Sahasrar Chakra above the brain center beneath Shikha ruled by Saturn. Rahu is giving birth or entry in the world of desires and worldly pleasures, whereas Ketu gives us liberation from the birth chain if the soul is awakened and Kundalini is reached upto this last chakra.

At the conclusion, we will also understand that there is one more Nadi except Ida and Pingala and that is Sushumna Nadi. This Nadi is ruled by Sun and Moon only and these two planets are freely moving in this Nadi when this Nadi is operated while inhaling. When both the nadis and nostrils are operating while the respiration, it means that Sushumna Nadi is on and Sun and Moon are interacting with all the chakras as well as the cosmic forces stored there in. All the chakras are situated in the Ida / Pingala Nadis zone. The Pingala Nadi ruled by Sun running through right nostril is at the start of Medulla Oblongata at 00 _{of Aries beneath the} Sahasrar Chakra and ends at 29* of Virgo where Mooladhar Chakra is located at the end portion of spinal cord. The Ida Nadi ruled by Moon running through left nostril is starting from 0* of Libra and ending at 29* of Pisces, the sign of liberation of the soul at Sahasrar Chakra. Rahu is dwelling at Virgo/Libra junction where Mooladhar chakra is located. Repeatedly we are mentioning Rahu here because there is an important role of Rahu to bind the Sun and the Moon of an individual in this world for rebirth.

After entering in the Virgo zone, Sun is coming in the contact of Rahu and thereby entering Pitru Lok and we are doing Shraddha karma in Bhadrapad Month. At the entry of Virgo we are also worshiping Lord Ganesh in this month at first Chaturthi as Lord Ganesh is residing at Mooladhar to protect us. We are worshipping Goddess Durga to relieve ourselves from the Moha and Maya extended by Rahu in Virgo/Libra in Navratri days.

Ultimately on Dipavali night we are enlightening the Deepmala to free ourselves from Tamas or Darkness of Libra zone where Sun and Moon both are bound in Swati star of Rahu on this day when Sun is at his debilitated position and Moon is also weak due to close conjunction with weak Sun. From Cancer to Libra is the zone of four lower chakras of worldly affairs and entry of the Sun towards these chakras is called the Chaturmaas period.

Still we can go very deep in this subject to understand the real philosophy of Karma Theory. This much introduction is enough to understand our personal zodiac wherein our own Moon is traveling. This personal Moon is leading us rightly or wrongly as per the pressure of our past karmas by joining our astral body or Sookshma Sharira alive even after our death.
