Explanation Figure 1
Based on the data extraction in chapter 4, three groups have been conducted. This has been done to qualify the parties based on the extracted data. It has been found that on qualitative and quantitative differences the political parties can be divided. Type 1 includes the parties which have the most and clear aspirations concerning cyberspace governance. Type 2 includes the moderate parties and type 3 the parties expressing the least cyberspace governance aspirations. By qualifying the parties into these groups an overview is provided.
Explanation of the Clusters
For translating the extracted data into findings and conclusions, relevant clusters have been made. These are based on the values provided in the theories combined with the extracted data. Its function is to create an overview of the found data. It is therefore not adopted from other researches or academics but created during (and for) the qualification of the analyzed cases. A positive effect of the clustering is that overviews such as provided in Figure 3 (p.63) can provide concise and usable insights. A downside of the clusters is that these have not been acknowledged by other researchers.
