TIERGARTEN

This 255 hectare park full of paths, meadows, and waterways is the most genteel of Berlin’s parks, but it’s still a fi ne place for jogging, football, a picnic barbecue, or nude sunbathing (weather permitting). The Siegessäule (Victory Column) that stood in front of the Reichstag from 1873 until 1938 now serves as a roundabout and lookout point in the middle of the park.
