Professional, institutional or industrial hand dishwashing detergent
In this report, denotes hand dishwashing detergent products with are intended for use solely by professional users in the industrial and institutional sector.
‘Industrial and institutional detergent’ means a detergent for washing and cleaning outside the domestic sphere, carried out by specialised personnel using specific products.
Cleaning According to EN ISO 862 Surface active agents – Vocabulary, a process in which dirt (stains) are removed from their substratum and put into solution or into dispersion.118
According to AS/NZ 4187, the removal of soil and a reduction in the number of microorganisms from a surface, by a process such as washing with detergent solution without prior processing.
