This appendix includes all (known) victims that can be attributed to the Mocro War between 2009 and 2015. The descriptions of the cases in this appendix is a aggregation of data from Monitor Lethal Violence and a time line that is created by a Dutch media site (Van Dun & Vugts, 2016).
22-04-2012 – Case 73
The 31-year-old Redouan B. was killed in a bar in Amsterdam. The homicide of Redouan B. is perceived as the starting point of series of assassinations in Amsterdam. According to the Ministry of Justice, the suspects were Rida B. and Alex G., two people who are “known” to law enforcement agencies in the Netherlands. However, it never led to a prosecution. Redouan B. was known as a hitman, and he might have accepted an order from Gwenetta M. to kill Benouf A.
18-10-2012 – Najeb B.
The 34-year-old Najeb B. was killed on a parking area in Antwerp. Najeb B. was a companion of Gwenette M. and he was the person that was acting on behalf of Gwenette M.’s group in the conflict concerning the drug bust of 200 kilograms of cocaine in Belgium, Antwerp in 2012. Benouf A. is considered as the person behind the homicide by both the criminal milieu as law enforcement agencies. He was in contact with Rida B. and Marchano P, the suspected executors of the homicide.
This homicide is not included in the dataset, since it was committed in Antwerp. However, the homicide of Najeb B. resulted in an escalation of the Mocro War and is therefore an important factor in this War.
29-12-2012 – Case 86
The 28-year-old Youssef L. and the 21-year-old Said el Y. were killed by multiple shooters in Amsterdam. Said el Y. died on the spot; Youssef L. died in the hospital.

Benouf A. and Rida B. were also in the car with Youssef L. and Said el Y., but they managed to escape. The target was most likely Benouf A. Law enforcement agencies considered Adil A. (shooter), Anouar B. (shooter), and Hamza B. (driver) – who are all three still alive – as responsible for the homicide. Adil A. and Anouar B. were prosecuted for the homicide in May, 2015.
16-03-2013 – case 96
The 21-year-old Rida B. was killed on the streets in Amsterdam. Rida B. had a career as a hitman, and he would be involved in the homicide of Redouan B. and Najeb B. The suspect of the homicide of Rida B. is Solaiman L., who was a friend of Rida B. Solaiman L. provided Rida B. a manipulated cell phone, with which he could follow Rida B. Whether Solaiman L. did this on behalf of someone else is not clear. However, Rida B. was seen as the person who led Benouf A. to the Staatsliedenbuurt in December 2012, where he managed to escape from the homicide attempt. Youssef L. and Said el Y. were killed in this event.
26-05-2013 – case 100
The 26-year-old Souhail L. was killed on a party in Amsterdam. Souhail L. was seen as the accountant from Benouf A.’s group. The suspect of the homicide was Eaneas L. (who died in 2014), a companion of Gwenette M., but he turned out to be not the shooter. However, the Ministry of Justice still thinks he was involved in the homicide.
20-02-2014 – Case 127
The 30-year-old Alex G. was killed in his private vehicle in Zaandam. He was one of the suspects of the homicide of Redouan B. The homicide of Alex G. has not been solved, but the Ministry of Justice suspected Massod Amin H. (who was killed in September 2014), a companion of Gwenette M.

The 30-year-old Mohamed el M. was killed on the streets in Amsterdam. He was a companion of Benouf A. and would release discharging statements on Benouf A. regarding the homicide of Najeb B. in Antwerp, 2012.
22-05-2014 – case 133
The 40-year-old Gwenette M. was killed in Amstelveen. He would have been involved in series of assassinations.
13-07-2014 – Case 134
The 30-year-old Stefan Eggermont was killed next to his car in Amsterdam. Eaneas L., who would later be a victim of homicide himself, would be the shooter. Stefan Eggermont was killed by accident. The intended victim was the brother of a killed Moroccan.
18-08-2014 – Case 138
The 34-year-old Derkiaoui van der M. was killed in Amsterdam. Derkiaoui van der M. was known as a hitman whom belonged to the group of Gwenette M. Additionally, he would have been involved in the double homicide in Amsterdam, where Said el Y. and Youssef L. were killed. However, the evidence was insufficient and it did not result to a prosecution.
03-09-2014 -139
The 26-year-old Massod Amin H. was killed in Amsterdam. He was a suspect in the homicide case of Alex G. in February 2014.
08-12-2014 – Case 148
The 34-year-old Luana Luz X. was killed in Amstelveen. She was the girlfriend of Najib H, who became more important in the group after Gwenette M.’s death. X’s store would have been the meeting point for Gwenette M.’s group. She would have

been responsible for the betrayal of the brothers Y., who survived a homicide attempt in Almere.
13-05-2015 – Case 162
The 25-year-old Youssef el K. was killed in Zaandam. Possibly a mistake. Intended victim: a witness of the double homicide in Staatsliedenbuurt in Amsterdam, 2012.
07-11-2015 – Case 175
The 27-year-old Eaneas L. was killed in Krommenie. He was a companion of Gwenette M. They were often seen together in the nightlife of Amsterdam. He would be involved in the homicide of Souhail L., known as the accountant of Benouf A. Eaneas L. was also a suspect in the homicide of Stefan E., who was killed by accident in 2014. While awaiting of the case, Eaneas L. was killed.
31-12-2015 – Case 179
The 27-year-old Chahid Y. was killed on Old Year’s Eve in Kerkdriel. Chahid survived a previous homicide attempt in 2014 and therefore, he knew he was at risk. Chahid Y. was a companion of Gwenette M., and he was in his presence when he was killed in Amstelveen in 2014. This led to speculations: had Chahid Y. betrayed Gwenette M.?
