4.1.1 What is the policy of the Institution for creation and enhancement of infrastructure that facilitate effective teaching and learning?

The institute is planning many new things for creation and enhancement of infrastructure that will facilitate effective teaching and learning. It includes increase in number of books, use of more computers and internet facility for every student of college. Institute also have plan for having LCD projectors in every classroom to facilitate modernization of teaching practice.

4.1.2 Detail of the facilities available for

a) Curricular and co-curricular activities – classrooms, technology enabled learning spaces, seminar halls, tutorial spaces, laboratories, botanical garden, Animal house, specialized facilities and equipment for teaching, learning and research etc.

b) Extra –curricular activities – sports, outdoor and indoor games, gymnasium, auditorium, NSS, NCC, cultural activities, Public speaking, communication skills development, yoga, health and hygiene etc.

a) The institute has well furnished classrooms and library. There is a seminar hall for presentations seminars and programs. There are various specialized facilities and equipment for teaching, learning and research e.g. internet facility, e-resources, ICT enabled classrooms. We have a seminar hall for college level seminar, celebrations of various days and cultural activities.

b) Extra–curricular activities –

Institute provides sports facility to students. We have many indoor games like carom, chess, we also have outdoor sports material of football, hand ball and badminton students are practicing and playing on Rabbani Ground, as it is open for all ground. For organizing gathering or sports activity at grand level college take the Lohiya ground on rent, as per agreement ,which is near to college . We don’t have gymnasium and

approximately 125 students every year. Various cultural activities took place in institute from time to time. We have a hall for college seminar, celebrations of various days and cultural activities. Programs focused on Public speaking skills, communication skills development, yoga, health and hygiene and various current issues are also undertaken from time to time.

4.1.3 How does the institution plan and ensure that the available infrastructure is in line with its academic growth and is optimally utilized? Give specific examples of the facilities developed/augmented and the amount spent during the last four years (Enclose the Master Plan of the Institution/ campus and indicate the existing physical infrastructure and the future planned expansions if any).

Institution has adopted developmental perspective which reflects in the facilities acquired in last two years. Institute has purchased new books, introduced ICT and internet. Infrastructure is also developed accordingly. A large amount has been spent on such activities.

Institute has a master plan in which construction of its own building is on first place. Institute has purchased a land of 03 (Three) acres for this purpose in educational circle at Ajni area. Institute has a plan to develop a premise which will consist all necessary qualities of a good infrastructure.

4.1.4 How does the institution ensure that the infrastructure facilities meet the requirements of students with physical disabilities?

At present the building of the college is on rent that is why it is not possible to do this. Of course when college develops its own infrastructure it will develop facilities for physical disabled students. Presently, there is no student with physical disabilities.

4.1.5 Give details on the residential facility and various provisions available within them:

As the college is day college and accessible for the students of the peripheral region, therefore there is no hostel facility. Students are provided with railway and buses concessions for attending the college. College has an agreement with local mini bus owner for dropping the students from bus stop the college.

The college has hospital beside the college for any medical emergencies, FIRST AID box is also kept in the college. We have Wi-Fi facility in our college.

The institute have common room for students but at present we don’t have audio-visual equipments in these room .We have water pump and water purifier for constant water supply safe drinking water to all. We have a secure premise for students and staff;

however watchmen are also there for the security purpose.

4.1.6 What are the provisions made available to students and staff in terms of health care on the campus and off the campus?

Health checkups are conducted once a year for students. Guidance program on Health, diseases are also conducted e.g. Breast cancer awareness programs, HIV AIDS prevention. Even in village camp and study tour students are provided with first aid box and necessary medicines. First Aid facility is available in college forever. Water purifier is also there for providing safe drinking water.

4.1.7 Give details of the Common Facilities available on the campus –spaces for special units like IQAC, Grievance Redressal unit, Women’s Cell, Counseling and Career Guidance, Placement Unit, Health Centre, Canteen, recreational spaces for staff and students, safe drinking water facility, auditorium, etc.

The college has another building on rent for other activities like Health Centre, recreational room for staff and students. The institute has IQAC, Grievance Redressal unit, Women’s Cell, Counseling and Career Guidance cell, Placement Unit. Water purifier is also there for providing safe drinking water facility in the premise.

The institute does not have auditorium and canteen till yet as the building is rented. If we need such a thing we take the hall on rent in local community.
