Trainer: Recap the main principles of the empowerment approach. Empowerment-based facilitation focuses on addressing the participant’s feelings and goals as well as exploring and understanding the participant’s problem. Empowerment-based facilitation avoids the solving the problem for the participant and most of all, judging the participant. See the empow- erment-based facilitation skills rating form (See Appendix I).
Use the empowerment-based facilitation skills rating form to make up responses to the following statement.
