PERFUMES PARA HOMBRE

Whence this creation originated; Whether He caused it to be or not, He who in the highest empyrean surveys He alone knows, or else, even He knows not.199

Since 1950, two related controversies have raged, both of which can be understood in the context of The Divine Life.

The first was the barrage of reports of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) seen by people all over the world. Sightings were usually of circular, disk or cigar-shaped objects moving through the sky at terrif- ic speeds and performing impossible aerial antics. Commercial or mil- itary pilots saw many of them to move in ways that defied the laws of time and space. There have also been people who insisted they were taken into the saucers and examined by spacemen.200There have been

many cases of sightings. It is therefore reasonable to consider the pos- sibility, but there has been no proof of their existence.

The psychologist Carl Jung felt that flying saucers were collective projections onto the sky of feelings related to either the salvation or destruction of the planet, as well as being images of the totality of the self.201The circular mandala plays an experiential role in uniting appar-

ently irreconcilable opposites and split-mindedness. Simultaneous sightings imply that different people are receiving similar ideas. Such images were also prevalent just before the year AD 1000, when there were many predictions of the end of the world. Jung states that when our conscious minds resist unconscious contents, we project them

ilize the system, and even populate neighbouring cells, until they have an advanced civilization. In the final stages of the evolution of the civ- ilization, they overpopulate, grow out of control like a cancer, discov- er atomic weapons, and finally overheat their environment, leading to a cataclysm, a trial by fire. The high temperature that accompanies brief illness would be the final conflagration of the bacterial society. They would send, just before their demise, scout rockets with colonists on long journeys to survive somewhere else in the universe. The situation is a familiar one. It is possible that identical processes are happening in the microcosm, in the miniature world, as happen in the outer world.

There is no reason to assume that other galaxies and their inhabitants would be the same size as earthlings. On the contrary, it is possible that in other galaxies beings are so much larger than us that the solar sys- tem exists as an atom within their bodies, or that they are so much smaller that they would exist within us. The relativity of dimensions of being is important in understanding our place within the universe.

We must understand the powerful impact of UFOs and fertilizing spacemen in the context of a recurrent universe. During the last decades of the Twentieth Century, television was so widespread in the world that almost every individual alive either saw man landing on the moon, the most widely viewed event in human history, or one of the many science fiction movies along the lines of Star Wars. The capabil- ity of travelling into outer space exists, but the extent to which we can utilize it constructively remains to be seen. Many people fantasize the escape into deep space and other solar systems or galaxies are the only solution to world problems. The fantasy has become the primary myth of our age. The brilliant science fiction work of Ray Bradbury, called “The Martian Chronicles”, shows that humans from earth colonizing Mars and then stranded there become the Martians that they are seek- Figure 47: The Viral LEM

of beings in what look like space helmets; Indian legends of white gods descending from the sky; prophetic protestations from Ezekiel and the Book of Revelations; and the unresolved enigma of the origin of life — in such a way that the entire issue is simultaneously absurd and profoundly stimulating. Until now, there are no answers to the questions he asks.

Rene Noorbergen finds traces of extra-terrestrial migration in Hindu accounts of the detonation of an atom bomb in 2400 BC, the use of x-rays in China in 206 BC, model aircraft found in pre Incan sites, Egyptian drawings depicting a vacuum tube, and a planetarium com- puter found in ancient Greece.204

The co-discoverer of the structure of the genetic code double helix, Nobel Laureate Francis Crick, hypothesized that life may have come to earth billions of years ago from an advanced civilization in another galactic system via an unmanned rocket, an interstellar Noah’s Ark, car- rying microbial spores. Crick is a highly respected scientist and it was a shock to the establishment that he rejected the Oparin-Haldane mech- anism that life arose by random accidents in the primeval bouillon. The question of the origin of life is the greatest scientific mystery, and as Louis Pasteur proved, life does not originate from non-living matter. Crick proposed that the doomed galactic civilization sent spaceships to many galaxies, knowing that the required chemical soup would exist on many planets in many solar systems. Bacteria can be frozen for the tens of thousands of years it takes for such an immense journey. Crick’s theory is similar to that of the British astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle, who also believes that life has an extraterrestrial origin, and that bacteria may have come to earth through space itself. The unanswered question is: if this is the case, how did life originate on the parent planet?

A fascinating idea emerges through the integration of the hypothe- ses of UFOs and Space Fertilization. A model derived from electron microscope photographs of a virus looks strikingly like the NASA lunar landing module (LEM). The virus lands on a human cell and low- ers its legs like the LEM lands on the surface of the moon. What if UFOs have already landed, but they are the product of a microscopic galaxy (an atom?), and are so small that they cannot be perceived by our eyes, but only by our perceptions tuned to the much faster and finer reality of such beings. The logarithmic relativity of such beings would mean that an entire world age for them would be the duration of a minor virus infection for us.

Just imagine it. The microscopic module has travelled from its galaxy from within the same human body and has landed upon the surface of a cell. The few bacteria (we are ourselves composed of very complex bacteria) land and colonize the cell system. Gradually they evolve, civ-

because they are transmitters capable of spanning the vast ages of mul- tiple world ages. The orientation of the ascending and descending pas- sages of the Great Pyramid show that it was built when the pole star was Alpha Draconis This makes its date about 2170 BC. However, since equinoctial cycles of about 25,000 years are repetitive, the date of its last rebuilding could equally be 29,000 years ago or 54,000 years ago. Modern humankind is often confused by such astronomically sited monuments.

A parallel type of evidence for repetitive history is the phenomenon of prophets. If an individual has the capacity to remember lives in ear- lier times or even during previous world ages through cycles of death and conception, a profound but challenging process confronts them. The prophet must learn prevailing languages and customs in which to express the ideas that time is circular. A prophet two thousand years ago trying to describe modern cities and transport would probably be considered very mad. The dangers of civilization would be difficult if not impossible to express, except through the medium of parables or myths, which is why all prophets must couch their message in such forms. The ability to make predictions or to present teachings that retain relevance through many generations is the primary quality that defines such beings. A similar profound memory of past lives and worlds is integral to prodigies. Mozart would remember his composi- tions earlier and earlier each lifetime, until he was writing symphonies at five years old, before the age or reason. The understanding of the cyclic nature of time is the most profound mystery.
