SAENT WATERFALL TOUR in Val di Rabbi Stablasolo (1539 m) - Stablet - Stablasolo

After leaving your car at the car park situated in the Stablasolo area, start out towards Malga Stabla- solo, a good site for animal observation. Follow the unpaved road to Malga Stablet, then take the path climbing towards Saent.Before getting to the Saent plain, by the pic-nic area, turn towards the waterfall path and follow it all the way down past the lower waterfall and back to Malga Stablasolo. TOUR OF THE MONTE SOLE MALGAS (SUMMER PASTURE SHELTERS) - Val Cercena in Rabbi Fontanon - Malga Monte Sole - Malga Fassa - Fontanon

Easy walking tour - 4 hrs - 500 m vertical drop

Leave your car at the car park at Fontanon, then walk straight on for about 500 metres up to the bridge over the Ragaiolo torrent. Cross the bridge and turn right onto the link road that will take you to the Monte Sole Malga road. Following the latter, you will get to the lower Malga Monte Sole (Bassa) in about 30 minutes.

The road continues in the woods up to the lower borders of the higher Malga (Alta) pastures. The Malga is situated at 2,050 m, right at the limit of the vegetation growth. Turn left and walk on for about 1 kilometer on level ground to reach Malga Fassa. To return, take the forest road down to the main road of Val Cercena, that will take you back to the Fontanon car park in about 15 minutes. COVEL LAKE TOUR in Val di Peio

Peio Paese - Malga Termenago - Cadini Waterfall - Covel lake - Predafessa - Peio Paese Paths no. 124 and 125 - 4 hrs - easy, pleasant walking tour

From Peio Paese, follow the unpaved road up to the area known as Mezzoli. Continue until you reach the provincial road, that will shortly take you to the Malga Frattasecca picnic area. From here, follow the military road up to the Cadini waterfall. Continue walking eastwards to Val Taviela, up to the Covel plain. The Covel Lake is an important biotope, especially protected because of its palustrine plantlife. A path goes down from the lake to the Predafessa masi (typical mountain farms), then borders woods and pastures down to the village (Peio Paese).

Lower Malga Termenago - Malga Frattasecca - Pian Vegaia - Malga Giumella - Fontanino Path no. 124 - 5 hrs - easy walking tour

The tour follows the track of an old military road built during the First World War. From the car park near Malga Frattasecca, climb up the mule track winding through fir-tree, larch tree and cembran pine woods up to the area called Pian della Vegaia, 1,900 m high.

The route continues on level ground, across rio Vegaia to Malga Giumella, at the far end of Pra Palù. Go down from Malga Giumella to the Fontanino of Cellentino (water spring), below the Pian Palù dam, then follow the paved road running along the torrent Noce back to Malga Frattasecca.

The Adamello-Brenta Natural Park was set up in 1967, and covers an area of 620,5 sq kilometres, ex- tending from the Trentino portion of the Adamello-Presanella Range to the West, to the whole Brenta Range to the East. The Park’s animal population is mostly made up of chamois, deers, roe-deers, marmots, squirrels, foxes, eagles, caper caillis, black grouses, as well as the last specimens of the renowned Alpine bear. Some steinbocks were re-introduced in 1995. The Park boasts a varied plant life as well : from the typical edelweiss to the martagon lily or the scented nigritelle ...
