Jeremiah 51:6,7a

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD's hand that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed.

Jeremiah 51:19-24

Who is Jezebel?

Babylon is THE structure of the kingdom of darkness in this world which touches every sphere of society. Together with it's desires, trade, pagan worship, idolatry, fornication and blasphemy this empire can be clearly seen once you know 'how' to look. It is literally all around us. Babylon is how the world operates, how that world operates that rejects God and the Messiah He sends who is Yeshua. There is a real war on against mankind and our souls just like a harlot steals and imprisons the soul of a man. Proverbs 5,3-8, Proverbs 6,24-29.

She operates together with her 'prophets'. She is also called Jezebel. Her name officially means "Baal exulted" but due to the actual biblical personality the meaning in Hebrew changed into 'not exalted one'. Jezebel has many other names like:

Do you realize that most of the 'goddesses' mentioned above were prostitutes, harlots? In case you don't know much about the biblical Jezebel, let's take a moment to read about this woman with

a reprobate mind and many faces and titles. The woman who causes bereavement of strength, honour, faith and life.

1 Kings 16:29-33

And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. And it came to pass as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians and went and served Baal and worshipped him. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal which he had built in Samaria.

And Ahab made a grove and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

Jezebel was the strong power behind the throne. She was an idol worshipper who absolutely hated the structure and rules ordained by God. We learn how Jezebel operates by examining some aspects of her character:

1. a Baal worshipper (1 Kings 16:31)

2. a murderer, with blood on her hands (1 Kings 21:1-16, 2 Kings 9:7) 3. a thief (1 Kings 21:1-16)

4. one who violated sacred rules, such as those providing for family inheritance (1 Kings 21:1- 16)

5. one who used intimidation and manipulation (1Kings 18:1-2)

7. one who took cover behind 'official' authority (In 1 Kings 21:8 she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealing them with his seal)

8. one who caused fear and paralysis such that people were not bold or strong enough to confront her or fight her (1 Kings 19:3,4)

9. she was able to discourage those opposing her, such that they became prey to suicidal thoughts or expressions, causing them to lose their will to live (1 Kings 19:3,4)

10. she stirred evil imaginations (1 Kings 21:25) 11. she was a harlot (2 Kings 9:30)

12. she was a witch, having engaged in Baal worship and extreme rebellion against the Most High God and His people (1 Sam 15 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft")

13. Emasculation. She emasculates man and thus breaking the healthy and godly roles of a man and woman through her character. She’s a a spirit who can operate through both man and women.

Jezebel was the opposite of Elijah, the man of God, the prophet of God. The spirit of Elijah is described as he who shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children

to their fathers (Mal 4:5,6). This speaks about healthy strong family relationships and the generations going hand in hand as one family unit. The family truly is fundamental within society because a family is a micro society and should be based on the biblical principles of God. This is how we can perceive all around us the way the enemy divides, distorts and destroys the very core of our lives which is founded upon the family unit. The Babylon-Jezebel agenda is to turn the hearts of people away from God, to turn the hearts of the children away from their parents, to turn the hearts of the husbands away from their wives, to turn every respect for authority in general into ‘independence‘ and to turn purity and physical integrity into promiscuity and debauchery.

Babylon -Jezebel is a worldwide structure with clear conspiracies and an agenda to change the morals and values ordained by God, to demoralize the generations, and change mindsets. Just like the serpent in Gan Eden, the Garden of Eden, beguiled the woman, the execution of this agenda is done in a subtle manner.

In the next chapters we will examine how this kingdom of the ’gate of gods’ and confusion has extended itself into every part of our society.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is very clear in the holy scriptures. He wants us to have no part of this empire, this structure of darkness and He calls us out of it. Why? Because we’re all born in this world aren’t we?! Therefore we all are or have been partakers of this empire or kingdom.

Babylon -Jezebel is the exact opposite of the holy structure ordained by God with His rules and teachings. God’s structures involve holiness, purity, justice and other biblical morals and values. Babylon is a Jezebel structure of unholiness, uncleanness, impurity and the mocking and breaking

of the ordinances God has set before us! Exodus 20,1-17, Deuteronomy 12,26-28,

Deuteronomy 29,12, Deuteronomy 30,1. Just as we as believers in Messiah Yeshua or Jesus are like a body, Babylon -Jezebel is also a body and functions like one. Just as we are connected to God,

Babylon -Jezebel is connected to Lucifer or Satan. God uses marriage terminology to describe His relationship with His people. He calls us a bride. Jezebel can be seen as the 'bride' of Satan for the two of them truly operate intensively together in one diabolical structure with a clear agenda in opposition against mankind.

The Babylon -Jezebel structure also entirely opposes those character traits presented in Galatians 5:22,23. Prayers to break the operation of this structure in our lives are provided in the chapter
