Table 4.2.5 presents the data based on the colleges of the respondents. It shows that out of the 103 respondents, fifty (50) representing 48 per cent were in the college of Administration, ten (10) representing 10 per cent were in the college of Environmental Science while forty-three (43) representing 42 per cent were in the college of Science and Technology.

Table 4.2.6 presents the data based on the marital structure of the respondents. It shows that out of the 103 respondents, monogamy (51) representing 51 per cent were involved in the monogamous marital structure while polygamy (52) representing 52 per cent were involved in the polygamous marital structure.

From table 4.3.1 it can be seen that the effect between the variables of finance and academic performance was significant,

This indicates a significant effect between marital problems involving finance and academic performance.Therefore, H01 which states that there is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving religious understanding among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi was rejected. This means that the effect of sources of marital problems involving religious understanding being felt by the female married students by those who are in their initial years of marriage is quite different from that of those who have spent a long time in marriage.
H02 There is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving sexual relations among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
A chi-square test of independence was performed to examine the effect of length of marriage (based on the initial and later years spent in marriage) and marital problems involving sexual relations and the result was presented in table 4.3.2

From table 4.3.2 it can be seen that the effect between the variables of religion and academic performance was significant,

This indicates a significant effect between marital problems involving religion and academic performance.Therefore, H02 which states that there is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving religious understanding among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi was accepted. This means that the sources of marital problems involving sexual relations is similarly being felt among the female married students by those who are in their initial years of marriage as well as by those who have spent a long time in marriage.
H03 There is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving interpersonal relations among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.

This indicates no significant effect between of length of marriage on sources of maritalproblems involving interpersonal relations because the P-value is more than the .05 level of significance. Therefore, H03 which states that there is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving interpersonal relations among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi state was accepted. This means that effect of sources of marital problems involving interpersonal relations is in the same way being felt among the female married students by those who are in their initial year of marriage as well as by those who have spent a long time in marriage
H04 There is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving decision-making among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
A chi-square test of independence was performed to examine the effect of length of marriage (based on the initial and later years spent in marriage) and marital problems involving decision making and the result was presented in table 4.3.4.

Therefore, H04 which states that there is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital involving decision-making among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi was rejected. This means that the effect of marital lengths on the sources of marital problems involving decision-making is not similar between female married students who are in their initial years of marriage and those who have spent a long time in marriage.
H05 There is no significant effect of marriage on sources of marital problems involving In-laws interference among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.

This means that the female students who are in their initial years of marriage differently felt the effect of length of marriage on the sources of marital problems involving in-laws interference from what was being felt by those who have spent a long time in marriage.
H06 There is no significant effect of length of marriage on sources of marital problems involving children among married female students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
