This course is directed toward real estate salesperson license applicants who have successfully passed a Real Estate Principles course with a "C" or better, and are looking for additional testing procedure training prior to the State exam.

This course is an overview of the principles and economics of real property ownership and transfer, review of forms, terminology, and processes involved. Real Estate 122 provides an awareness of land use history, social and political issues related to real property. The course is recommended for home buyers, property managers and those involved in the variety of housing related industries. This course is an approved elective for the Real Estate Broker's examination, is required for the Real Estate Salesperson examination, and is a prerequisite for all other real estate courses.

Occupational Work Experience is designed for students who work or volunteer in a field related to their vocational major. Students are required to provide evidence that they are enrolled in a vocational program (e.g., educational plan or coursework in a vocational subject area). The Parallel Plan is designed for students who wish to take classes and work during the same semester. A maximum of 4 units of Occupational Work Experience credit may be earned during any one semester, to a maximum of 16 units total. Students must be enrolled in at least 7 units including Work Experience units. Courses taken at other accredited colleges or equivalent course work may meet this requirement. Internship/job placement is
not guaranteed.
