Proceso “Modelamiento del negocio”

Capítulo 3: Aplicación práctica

3.3. Aplicación Práctica

3.3.2. Proceso “Modelamiento del negocio”

Bible Study #7 – July 14, 1927 First John 3. This is a banquet of love, where Jesus is looking over us and making Himself known to us. It is surely the manifestation of love when we read in God’s Word, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9).

Surely beloved, God means to strengthen us by this coming near unto Him, to believe that our weaknesses shall be turned into strength, that out unbelief shall be made into living faith, that the dew of His presence, the power of His love, may be so active upon us that we are all changed by this wonderful Word.

I want to lift you to a place where you dare believe that God is waiting to bless you abundantly, beyond all that you can ask or think.

Are you ready? “What for?” you say. That you shall this day get before God with such living fairly to dare believe that all things are possible concerning you.

Are you ready? “What for?” That you may this day know that God’s mercy never faileth. Though you are failing, He is still full of mercy.

Are you ready? You are? Then God will surely giant unto you a very rich blessing that you shall forget all your poverty and come into a bountiful place of supply till you shall never know—understand it, God means it—you shall never know any barren thing concerning you, but you shall be brought into His treasures and He shall cover you with His bountifulness, and you shall know that the God of the Most High reigns.

What Manner of Love!

The Lord has given me the privilege to bring before you another message this morning, a message that I trust will stir you all and change you in a very remarkable way.

The Lord is still leading me on the line of gifts, only there is just a little break this morning because we have been having so much on the line of the gifts, and now I want to put you in the place of a position where you are worthy of these positions, or divine appointments, with God.

To this end, let us consider the third chapter of the first epistle of John, the first to the tenth verses. This is one of the pinnacles of truth. A pinnacle of truth is that which leads you to a place of sovereignty of purity, a place where you cannot be moved by the situation. You have a fixed position. You take the position clearly on the authority of the Word of Jesus. God means to let it ring through our hearts distinctly, clearly, marvelously. Free from sin, children of God, heirs of the kingdom of His righteousness.

The opening word of this chapter is one of those words in

which we find stimulation in Hebrews. You will find many words which have a lot to do with the opening of the Scriptures, such as therefore and wherefore. Here, we have a beautiful word, behold. Awake! Open! Listen! God is speaking.

What is He saying? “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” (1 John 3:1).

What manner of love! It is one of those manifold—or much more; it is full of expression. It is God who looks past your weaknesses, your human depravities, all your makeups which you know were absolutely out of order, and He has washed you, He has cleansed you, He has beautified you, and He looks at you and says, “You are lovely! I see no spot of sin upon you. There is no spot. You are now My sons.”

For the Lord is gentle, easy to be entreated, without partiality, full of goodness and faith. He seeth beyond all weakness, looks at the son of His love because of the shed blood, and opens unto us the treasures of His great love, and saith to us:

Interpretation of Tongues:

Thou art fair, My love, thou art fair. I have called thee into My banqueting house, I have decked thee with the jewels of the rarest, for thou shalt have gifts and the beatitudes shall cover thee, and My grace shall follow thee and I will give thee to understand the mysteries of the hidden things.

The Order of Sonship

That we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1 John 3:1)

The world knows us not in our sonship. We have to be strangers to the world’s knowledge. We have to surpass all, even in the midst of it.

I want us to examine ourselves to see if this sonship is ours, if we are in the order of perfect sonship. And then, after that, you may strengthen yourself in God and believe for anything to come to pass. But you must examine yourself to see if you are in the Father.

The greatest blessing that can come to you will be that the Word of life in going forth will inwardly create in you a deeper desire for God.

If you are right, as the Spirit is giving the Word, it will make you long more for God, more for the holiness of God, more for the righteousness of God, for He has to make you this day to know that as He is pure, you have to be pure.

Don’t stumble at the Word. If Jesus says anything, if the Word conveys anything to your mind, don’t stumble at the Word. Believe that God is greater than you are, greater than your heart, greater than your thought, and that He can establish you in righteousness even when your thoughts and your knowledge are absolutely against it. He blotted out our transgressions in a thick cloud, and our sins, our iniquities, will He remember no more forever. (See Isaiah 44:22.)

Often, I find that people misunderstand God’s Word because they bring their minds to the Word, and because the Word does not exactly fit their minds, they do not get liberty.

They want the Word to come to their minds. It will never do it.

You have to be submissive to God.

The Word of God is true. If you will understand the truth and right, you can be always on the line of gaining strength, overcoming oppositions, living in the world but over it, making everything subject to you.

Labor Lightened

One day, after holding a meeting, a man came to me and said, “Your ministry makes me feel that there is something radically wrong with me. I am a strong man to look at. There is apparently no weakness about me. I am ashamed of myself; I have three big lads and they are doing the work of men, and I know it is not right. And here I am, a big man, and if I do anything on the line of my business, I go down. I have just come out of three weeks in bed through working one day.”

He had a business of carrying coal from house to house in bags of 112 pounds’ weight. Every time he picked up a bag and carried it to a house, his whole frame gave way and he had to go to bed.

“Why,” I said, “brother, you have never come into the line of truth. You are stranger to the truth of the Word of God.”

There are any number of people who have not learned yet

how they are masters of their own bodies, masters of all kinds of work, masters of everything. You have to be a son of God in the earth, over your work, over your mind, over your body, over your life.

Interpretation of Tongues:

It is God who openeth the heart and gives us

understanding, for without the Spirit gives life to the Word, you will be still held. But let the Spirit lift you by the Word and you will find you will come into perfect freedom today; for God taketh the Word, poureth it into thy heart, openeth thy understanding, and thou art in liberty, because the Word of God makes everybody free and the Word of God is not bound.

From Romans 7:25, we clearly see how we are over every manual labor of God: “So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”

There is the sequel to the position.

“My brother,” I said, “you have carried those bags of coal with your body, and you have allowed your mind to come into your body, and you have gone down.”

That is what people are doing all the time.

Now, what is the law of sin? Every kind of work there is today is the law of sin. Is it sin? No, it is not sin; it is what law brought. There was no work before the fall, but work of every description came because of sin, and through it you have to eat your bread by the sweat of your brow, and sweat is an

emblem of sin.

Sweat, disease, weakness, calamity, and all kinds of depression the law of sin has brought.

Is it sin, then, to work? No, it is not sin to work.

I went to an asylum one day, and I said to the man, “What is the first indication when a man has come to reason and clear understanding?”

“Oh!” he said. “Are you a stranger?”

“Yes,” I said.

“Well,” he said, “are you…what makes you so intent about this thing?”

“I have someone in question,” I said. “What is the first indication? Tell me.”

“Why,” he said, “it is marvelous that you should ask. You see that man over there? That man became perfect in a moment, and we had six men in charge of him. In a moment he came right. We agreed together to pray at a certain time, and that man was as free as possible.”

“What is the first indication?” I asked.

“The first indication,” he replied, “is that when a man is coming sound in his mind, he wants to work.”

And the first indication you are getting unsound is when

you will not work!

There is nothing wrong in work. It is an institution that came through sin. There is nothing wrong in it. But it is wrong when we do not know how to live in it and over it.

This coal carrier said, “I see!”

What did he see? He saw that he could go on to his work, get hold of those bags of coal, put them on his back, keep his mind on the Lord, and every hour he was stronger. And he carried a hundred bags out and finished promptly.

That is what God wants us to learn: whatsoever we do, do it to the glory of God.

If you listen to the Word of God this morning, it shall make you strong. You will find out that whatever work you have to do will be made easier if you keep your mind stayed on the Lord. Blessed is the man that has his mind stayed upon the Lord! We must see to it that in the world, we are not moved.

Kept in Perfect Peace

One day, God revealed to me that if I had any trouble in my body, in my heart, I had missed it. He showed me that if I had trouble in my heart, I had taken on something that did not belong to me, that I was out of the will of God. So I investigated it and found it was true, on this line: they that keep their minds stayed on God shall be kept in perfect peace.

(See Isaiah 26:3.)

Interpretation of Tongues:

God in His great love towards us has so distributed the power of His righteousness through our human bodies that the very activity now within us is a lift of praise. We adore Him, we thank Him, we praise Him, because He has delivered us from the power of evil and surrounded us by the power of light.

Attributes of Sonship

…that we should be called the sons of God. (1 John 3:1) What to do? Be as a son of God. A son of God…

must have powers over the powers of the devil.

must behave himself seemingly.

must be temperate in all things.

must have the expression of the Master.

should be filled with tenderness and compassion and should have a body filled with bowels of mercies.

must excel in every way.

God says to you more than you dare say about yourself,

“Behold, ye are sons of God.” (See Galatians 4:6.)

So do not be afraid. Take the stand, come into line, and say,

“I will be that.”

God spoke and the heavens gave place to His voice, and He cried, “This is my beloved Son: hear him” (Mark 9:7).

And afterwards, Jesus always said, “I am the Son of God”

(John 10:36).

God comes to you this morning and says, “Behold, you are the sons of God!” Oh! That we could have a regiment rising, claiming their rights, standing erect with a holy vision and full of inward power, saying, “I am, by the grace of God, a son of God!”

“Wisdom is justified of all her children” (Luke 7:35). The man or woman that takes the place of God this morning, do not fear; I stretch out my hand to you. You may have in many ways felt that you were never wet thy, but God makes you worthy.

And who shall say you are not worthy?

It is the will of God to choose you. It is not your choice; it is the Lord’s choice. Hear what He says:

Interpretation of Tongues:

I have chosen you, I have ordained you, that you should go forth bearing much fruit, and that your fruit should remain. For herein is your Father glorified: When you bring forth much fruit, so shall you be My disciples.

Sons of God Now

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall

appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2)

I am not dealing with the second coming of Christ. I am dealing with the life in the believer. I am dealing with sonships in the earth. I am dealing with sonship, sonlikeness, what we are to be like and what will take place, how we shall overcome the world.

“Every man that hath this hope…” (1 John 3:3). This hope of sonship; this hope of ministry; this hope of life-giving, transmitting life.

One thing that the saints need to get to know is not how to quote Scripture, but how the Scripture should be pressed out by the Spirit, that the Spirit should impart life as the Word is given. Jesus says, “My word is the spirit of life” (see John 5:24), so we need the Spirit to bring life into the believer, imparting life.

Imparting life? Why? How? There is a deep secret right in the midst of this: “Every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself” (1 John 3:3).

There is a lovely word along this line in 1 Corinthians:

If we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. (1 Corinthians 11:31–

32)

Peace—Not Hysteria or Nervousness

In the classroom this morning, a student asked a very important question. I hope someday to deal especially with how to discern evil spirits and how to deal with voices, because many people today are troubled with voices, and some people run hither and there through voices. Some people are so much unhinged by voices that instead of being the sons of God, they seem to be gripped with a condition of hysteria or nervous prostration.

Beloved, God wants to make you sound. God wants to make you restful. God wants to give you peace. He wants to cause you to live in the world with peace.

The very first message the angel gave was, “On earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). Jesus had to bring peace on earth and goodwill to men.

If you are not at peace, there is something wrong. If you are not at rest, something has taken place. You must know that God means you to be so at peace as if you were in heaven.

It is true, God hears me say it: I am as much at peace as if I were in the glory. I declare unto you also that on the line of the fact of the faith of the Son of God in me, I have no knowledge of the body, am free from everything that means weakness.

There is a redemption in Christ, a fullness of redemption, that shall make us free from powers of sin, powers of thoughts of evil, and powers of evil thoughts, so that we reign in the world over the powers of the devils, not being subject to but making everything subject to us. It is a real royal place that I

want you to come into this morning: purified as He is pure. (See 1 Peter 1:16.)

Most people fail to come into perfect line with God because they allow their own reasoning to defeat the power that God has.

Why should I always bring up the past? Why, there is not a man in this place that can forgive himself. You would give the world if you could forgive yourself. The best men in this place would give anything if they could forgive themselves for what they have done. But you cannot; you feel ashamed.

One thing is, you cannot forget the evil things that you have done. Another thing is sure, that the devil will not let you forget. But there is another thing which is true: God has forgot, and it is whether we will believe ourselves or the devil or God.

Which are you going to believe? When He forgives, He forgets.

On the authority of your believing God’s Word, I can bring you onto another line. There are wonderful things to achieve this morning on the line of faith that dares to believe God. Only believe! “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29).
