The Associate of Applied Science in Web Design and Development program is designed to prepare students for careers in the Web Design and Development field. The objective of this program is to provide students with the skills necessary to function in the various areas of Web Design and Development. The program provides an education for creative people focusing on the use of electronic technology while incorporating the basic theories of graphics, text, and interactivity for the web. This combination of conventional and electronic techniques plus a foundation of general education coursework offers students a balanced and well-rounded knowledge base essential to successfully perform and communicate in this industry.
