At the Texas 50-State Tour gathering, these elements clicked. Alice Patterson, our USSPN Apostolic Coordinator for the state of Texas, sponsored the state meeting in San Antonio on December 8-9, 2003. The meeting was held at New Life Christ- ian Center, headed by Apostles LaSalle and Portia Vaughn. These were key apostolic leaders with an incredible church. We began our restoration process by reconciling issues concerning the Host People of the land. Jay Swallow, a Native apostolic leader, led this. We then moved from the Host People of the land to rec- onciliation between Hispanics and Anglos. Being in San Antonio where cultures clash and many breaches have occurred gave us a need to identify with past sins and problems. Much reconcilia- tion occurred concerning the Hispanic issue of our nation and the leaders of that ethnic group taking their prophetic apostolic place in our nation.

Cindy Jacobs, a well-known apostolic prophetic interces- sor, was there on the night of December 8 and began to proph- esy and unlock a new anointing for the state of Texas. Dutch began to teach and preach on the night of December 9. When he did, a prophetic anointing began to fill the room. It was as if I knew God’s heart and mind and why we were there. I actually felt I was being lifted into the heavenlies and standing before the Lord. I grabbed hold of Alice and said, “I am going up before God.” In this spiritual place I heard Him say, “I am going to tell you why you are here. Do not think; just go and decree what I tell you.”

Declaring the Mantle of a State

Dutch Sheets began by declaring the redemptive gift of the state of Texas:

Jesus, we want more of Your Christ anointing of the prophetic. Jesus, the Prophet, come to Texas. Come with Your holy zeal, come with Your fire, come with Your revela- tion—Jesus, the Prophet, the Prophet of God. The very tes- timony of You is the Spirit of prophecy. Jesus, come and mantle Texas tonight with another level, another degree of the prophetic anointing to be forerunners for America. Impregnate this state with a transformation anointing. Impregnate this state with the ability to prophesy and decree change to the rest of the nation. Impregnate this state with revelation so that their words don’t fall to the ground. Impregnate them with a power that no matter what the hoards of hell say, that something changes in the Spirit. The decrees of man, the unrighteous spirit, the decrees of ungodly judges begin to pale and fall before You. Let the idols of man fall and be broken next to the Ark of Your Presence. Lord, I just say according to Your word, a nation could be born from this state. I say there is a governmental anointing on the state of Texas—on the Church of Texas—to rise up in her position in heavenly places and begin to legislate and begin to affect, to begin to release the government of God (that) changes the government of man.

Connecting the State Into the Whole Purposes of Our Nation

Pastor Dutch began to pray for President Bush:

I say there is an anointing, whether he knows it or not, on our president to do it—that comes from the state of Texas. And he is mantled with a prophetic anointing to hear from Heaven. And where he is—I break off of him and shield him even now from any ability of the enemy to deceive him or lead him down wrong paths. And I decree that if he has gone down a wrong path, You’re just going to correct it because You put him there and You love him and You’ve called him

and he loves You. And I say that the prophetic anointing of God rests upon the man. I say, Lord, would You speak to this nation and the nations of the earth through that man. Lord, we just say now, Your word is in us as a seed and we are now pregnant with life. A nation is in our womb. We are a prophetic people, and we’re going to build bridges into the new. We are ready. We receive a new mantle of Your Spirit to mantle the state of Texas once again with a new level of the prophetic anointing. We say the old is broken and the new has come, and the reproach is broken and the breaches are dealt with, and the new mantle is coming to the state of Texas in Jesus’ name.

The Stirring of the Prophetic Anointing and the Release of a “Now” Word

I then began to prophesy:

Watch the bridges that begin to fall. For even now there are some that are sitting on pillars that will not stand in days ahead. These will become signs to you. For bridges will be coming down so that I can reroute what I need to do at this time. There is strength in this state to turn the battle at the gate. Allow your strength to rise up…The heavens are open- ing tonight and the revelation is beginning to pour out. Declaration of the Lord’s Purpose

for Bringing Us Together

I next shared the Lord’s reasons for bringing us together: Now, when Pastor Dutch was sharing with us about Detroit and how we were at a certain place at a certain time [April 3-5, 2003], and God gave us revelation about how the key had been turned over and even caused the voice of that region to be lost, we were there [in Detroit] right when it was time, and they [the coalition troops] were stalled going through the gate into Babylon. And I felt like we made a break, and as we broke through and as we repented, as the key peo- ple came forward, it allowed us to enter in and bring confusion and to declare a dropping of a stronghold.

However, since that time we have seemed to lose ground in that nation of Babylon, in that nation of Iraq…there was a quickening when he said that. And He said, “Just as you were there then, I have you here now. And what has fallen into confusion where ambushes have come, I have said to you tonight and I say to you tonight I am raising up a people here tonight that can put a stop to the ambushes from this place in San Antonio. In this place tonight you have been given the power to stop what has been scattered, and call things back into place. Start with yourself and declare scattering will flee. Decree that scattering, that is a part of the vision, that you’re a part of, will now have to go. And now where the enemy has tried to bring scattering even into the leadership of this state— decree it stopped tonight. And now declare over this nation that the power of scattering that would even create plans to go this way and that way and another way, decree that the ambushes are now being stopped in Jesus’ name. And declare, instead of ambush, that President Bush will have a clear mind tonight.”

Speaking From the Seer Anointing

And then the Lord showed me a nest, and it was a nest of snake eggs. And the Lord said,

There are four snake eggs that are lying wait, and that from this state I am giving you the power tonight to crush those snake eggs. I would even say to you in this state tonight you will be able to decree to Babylon, and that strongman that has not been found will now be found in the next seven days.

Warring With the Prophetic Word Pastor Dutch continued,

Expose him. We declare exposure. We declare the eggs are being crushed under our feet in Jesus’ name. Under our feet, under our feet, under our feet….Break it. We say witch- craft is broken that hides him in Jesus’ name.

Local Leadership Begins to Agree With the Decree

Pastor Darrell Feemster then stated,

Fort Hood, Texas, the 4th I.D. [Infantry Division], is in Iraq. And this next month the 1st Cavalry, as he [Chuck] spoke about a nation in our loins—I wonder if God could birth a Christian nation in Iraq with the 1st Cavalry from Texas, the 4th I.D. from Texas, that God would birth a Christian nation in Iraq. Father, we pray. We speak blessing over our soldiers. Lord, they are soldiers of our nation, but they’re soldiers of Texas. They are the forerunners around Baghdad and Tikrit. They’re watching for Saddam Hussein. Father, their materials, their weapons are already over there. They’re going to pick up their weapons. And Lord, they’re going to take the victory. They’re going to raise up a nation, and that nation is going to be named after Your name in the name of Jesus. We bring down that spirit of Babylon in the name of Jesus.

Into Agreement With Prophetic Revelation

Greg Jackson, who was dressed in military uniform, declared,

As a witness to the prophetic word in this house, as a repre- sentative of the Armed Forces in the state of Texas, I declare in the name of the Lord, it shall be!

Expresses Themselves in Worship

A roar went up from the crowd. That roar entered the atmosphere and, I believe, was traveled by the Spirit of God all the way to Iraq. Worship was then released in an incredible way. The roar of God is a prophetic release that creates a covering of God’s authority in the earth realm. Amos 3:7-8 says, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His ser- vants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?”

Results Were Heard Worldwide

Troops from the 4th Infantry went in and found Saddam Hussein three days later! Even though many were praying around the world, I believe it takes corporate gatherings at times to express God’s purpose in the earth.
