The Trust provides 4 self-catering holiday houses in Pembrokeshire for families with disabled children. Three houses are in the Tenby area and are fully adapted and equipped for physically disabled children. The fourth is in Narberth and has been adapted for children with autism and other learning difficulties and is safe and secure.

Centre Parcs welcome children with special needs. There is no information on their website regarding disability as they would prefer people to speak to them about their individual needs. There are no concessionary rates for children with additional needs or their carers. However, many of their staff have an understanding and open approach to disabilities. No cars are allowed on the parks, but they have a range of specially adapted bicycles for those with disabilities including wheelchair users.

Butlins now has some fully-adapted rooms both in their self-catering apartments and the hotel at Bognor Regis. The rooms are wider and have a wheel-in shower room. TV Licence

If you or someone you live with is registered as blind, you qualify to receive a 50% reduction on the cost of you TV licence. You will need to transfer the licence into the name of the person who is registered as blind or severely sight impaired, there are no age restrictions on this.

Radar keys offer independent access to disabled people to around 7000 locked public toilets around the country. The RADAR NKS provides special keys for registered disabled people to access locked public toilets around the UK. A RADAR key can be obtained from the Disability Resource Centre in Poynters Road, free of charge. You will need to take along your child’s Blue Badge if they have one, or proof of their disability.
