Para el caso de los análisis de composición proximal del músculo se recomienda complementar el análisis con uno del pez completo para realizar comparaciones y cuantificar la tasa de conversión proteica de manera más precisa.
Realizar un análisis de digestibilidad de la dieta, para comparar las dietas de 100% harina de pescado con las de sustitución parcial con harina de soya comercial y las que contienen prebiótico.
Realizar este tipo de análisis en los estadios de juveniles tempranos para verificar si el rendimiento en crecimiento es similar a lo observado en el presente trabajo.
Realizar un análisis a nivel histológico de la estructura de las microvellosidades del intestino para observar si hay cambios por efecto del prebiótico. Complementar este análisis con una descripción similar en organismos bajo condiciones silvestres para tener referencia sólida.
Realizar análisis de la microbiota gastrointestinal del jurel antes y después de un bioensayo de alimentación con prebióticos para evaluar su efecto en la misma.
Para evaluar el efecto de un prebiótico en la respuesta inmune no específica es de suma importancia considerar la realización de varios muestreos a través del bioensayo, ya que ello permitirá observar cambios importantes en la respuesta y a su vez indicará el tiempo adecuado para incluirlo en la dieta de los peces.
