2. Recomendaciones

Aunque no se encontró incorporación del ácido linoleico conjugado en los lípidos de la membrana del espermatozoide o efecto sobre las variables de calidad seminal in vitro y

producción de semen, es necesario determinar el efecto de su consumo sobre la capacidad fecundante del espermatozoide. Además, se debe determinar el efecto del consumo del ALC a largo plazo sobre las variables de calidad y producción seminal.

La alteración del perfil de ácidos grasos por el consumo de los nucleótidos, sugiere que es necesario determinar los ácidos grasos que no pudieron ser identificados en el análisis del perfil de ácidos grasos de la membrana de la célula espermática, con la finalidad de conocer su posible impacto sobre la fluidez y capacidad fecundante del espermatozoide.

También es necesario plantear experimentos que nos ayuden a determinar el mecanismo de estimulación temporal de la libido en cerdos castrados tratados con PGF2α, ya que los

resultados obtenidos en esta investigación indican que la PGF2α pudiera afectar directamente

áreas del cerebro que controlan en deseo sexual o por mecanismos indirectos que desencadenan una cascada de liberación hormonal que estimule el deseo sexual en el verraco castrado.

Es necesario hacer uso de las tecnologías disponibles más recientes para determinar con mayor precisión las variables de producción y calidad espermática, tales como los sistemas CASA (Computer Assisted Sperm Analysis), los cuales miden simultáneamente y con un mínimo margen de error todas las variables de calidad seminal.
