The Explosive Detection Kit based on spot test colour reactions is capable of

detecting and identifying explosive ingredients used in the bomb blasts based on trace explosive ingredients of the order of 10-4 g. It is very useful for pre and

post explosion analysis. The operator can specifically identify the explosive

ingredients such as TNT, RDX, PETN, Black Powder, Dynamite, NC, NG, CE, inorganic nitrates, RDX based plastic explosives etc. used in the blasts by comparing the standard colour chart provided with the Kit.

Oleoresin (OR, a Chili extract) based grenades are totally safe, simple to operate, user- friendly and extremely useful for flushing out terrorists from their hideout. These grenades can be thrown by hand up to 40 meters into the hideouts / agitated mob and are easily dispersed as smoke (aerosol) from pyrotechnic mixture. The grenades when used emit tear gas for more than 30 seconds after a delay of 2.5 ± 0.5 seconds, making the person to come out due to lacrymation, irritation and suffocation.
