SOC 4 MARRIAGE AND FAMILY RELATIONS 3.0 Units Transfer: CSU/UC This course looks at the changing roles and formations of family over time with a particular emphasis on the impact of industrialization on our definitions of family. This includes changing courtship patterns, reproductive strategies and the meanings of childhood and parenthood. Current issues such as work/family balance and divorce are also covered.
