Over the last 2 weeks (since January 6, 2017), Stantec has performed the following work:

Wastewater Treatment Plant – Post Construction: Stantec is sent a letter out to Mike Bean, Hydro

Construction, and the Blower manufacturer on January 17th detailing the understanding of the

issues and proposed actions to protect the blowers from malfunction. Stantec met with the blower manufacturer service rep to discuss the status of the agreed upon rebuild of Blower #3. Stantec will be developing a specification for the protective pressure relief valve proposed to be installed along the air pipe header.

Bonfire Subdivision: The developer is waiting on Century link to relocate some of their

underground lines south of Ember Drive so that the developer and regrade the swale from Ember Drive south to the northernmost driveway of the Cameron facility. Once the grading is complete the warranty can begin with the condition that the seeding can be completed as soon as the weather permits in the spring.

Garfield Avenue Storm Sewer: Work has ceased for the season but the contractor/MCI has

contacted the Town on whether they can continue work from 3rd Street to 4th Street (i.e. Phase 2)

this year. We will work with the Town for a plan and schedule and this will be taken to the Board for approval in a future Board meeting.

Sage Meadows – Stantec received mylars for signatures for both the onsite improvements and

the offsite sanitary sewer improvements. A preconstruction meeting will be held prior the start of construction.

Grant Avenue Waterline – This project has been tabled until 2018. In 2018 Stantec will perform

some minor updates to the plans and project manual to reflect the actual bid dates. At this time, we are not anticipating any changes to the plans in 2018.

Columbine Estates – Stantec had a phone conversation with DR Horton on Wednesday

01/11/2017 concerning the remainder of Columbine Estates that is not yet developed. DR is considering purchasing the remainder of the site from the bank and potentially developing it. They are trying to work out the cost of the pumped detention pond located in the southeastern part of the property to see if it can be done in a cost effective manner to make the project worth doing.

Wellington Downs – Stantec received a call from Crow Creek Construction relating that a final

berm will be constructed along the south end of the project this week and once that is

complete it will be surveyed and the information provided to Northern Engineering (Engineer of Record) to finalize the asbuilts and submit them to the Town.

4th and Cleveland Storm Sewer –Stantec checked in with Corey Stewart on 01/04/2017 to see if

he had any major questions or issues with the plans. Corey Stewart will facilitate the review of the plans as well as the funding piece. Once Corey has funding identified CDOT will send the town an IGA to sign so the Town can bill CDOT. No CDOT comments have been received on the plans as of 01/06/2017. Stantec talked with CDOT on 01/06/17 Corey Stewart asked for any drainage calculations relating to the project. Stantec will send this to CDOT in the next few days. Stantec also asked about the promised CDOT funding of $100,000. No confirmation of this

funding has been received as of 01/06/2017.

Geier Farms – Stantec received annexation paperwork for some ROW on the adjoining property

to the north of Geier Farms. Robert and Michelle Johnson own the property. The additional ROW is required to build the required section of the proposed Ronald Reagan Avenue along the north boundary of Geier Farms as shown on the current plans.

Wellington Business Park – Stantec visited the site several times over the past few weeks. Some

concrete has been placed on the site but no more work on the sewer and water pipeline has been done. The building shell is essentially complete. A certificate of occupancy cannot be issued until the sewer and water are complete and accepted by the Town.

O’Reilly Auto Parts- Progress on the design is still proceeding. Drawings/plans from the Architect

are being transmitted to the Town for final review.

Sundance at Daubert Farms – Hartford Homes has approached Northern Engineering to update

the plans for this subdivision. Stantec talked with Hartford and Northern on Friday 01/13/2017 about this project and let them know that they would have to submit plans to North Poudre Irrigation along with the Town as they have infrastructure that crosses the property and will be affected by the design. The original plans were done by a consulting firm that is no longer in business.

Harvest Village Townhomes – Stantec met with Hartford Homes and Northern Engineering on

Friday January 13, 2017 to discuss the proposed townhome project to be constructed on Outlot A located west of Boxelder Creek and north of Ronald Reagan Avenue. The proposed project consists of nine (9) 6-plexes, two (2) 5-plexes and one (1) 4-plex. Based on our conversations the developer has already transferred ownership of the eastern portion of the property to the Town for a future park and recreation building. The developer proposes to build a small park as amenity to their town home project which will be expanded in the future by the Town. The developer will be required to extend waterlines to the north property line of Outlot A to facilitate a fully looped water system when it connects into waterlines in Jefferson Avenue. Fire access will be provided along the main drive and a concrete path, which will provide pedestrian and bicyclist access to the park areas as well. No sewer extension is expected to the north property line as the properties to the north will be intercepted by the 18-inch sewer line that runs under the BNSF RR from Viewpointe to the west into the existing lift station. Detention will be provided in ponds restricting stormwater flows to the historic 100-year rates in accordance with Town
