IAI support provided to the UVTRL has been used to fund the following student activities:

• Sarah Laxton and Kelly Penrose were provided with funding to attend University of Arizona dendroclimatology courses.

• Rochelle Campbell was provided with funding to complete a tree-ring community distance education course focused on MatLab techniques.

• Rochelle Campbell, Sarah Laxton, Dave Lewis, Scott Jackson, Kelly Penrose and Krista Roessingh were provided with support for their fieldwork activities in the summer field season of 2004.
