CAPITULO IV MECANISMOS PARA LA INDUCCIÓN DE LA BICICLETA A PARTIR

4.1 Un transporte público: unificador y eficiente

Above example is of test conducted on LT CT operated meter using Accuchek LT+. Accuchek HT+ gives similar printout with PT RATIO information just after CT Ratio.

Following heading for active energy (recorded by Accuchek as well as % error of active energy) can be displayed:

(a) Wh - I ⇒ MUT Active energy (fundamental) in Import mode.

(b) Wh - E ⇒ MUT Active energy (fundamental) in Export mode.

(c) Wh - IT⇒ MUT Active energy (Total) in Import mode (d) Wh - ET⇒ MUT Active energy (Total) in Export mode

11 Important Precautions

The following points must be given special attention:

1. Operate the Accuchek+ within its recommended voltage and current limits. Applying excessively high voltages or currents may damage the equipment.

2. If you have connected current on 5A socket and selected 1A range through keyboard then it will display wrong values of electrical parameters. Do the selection again through keyboard and then start a new test.

3. Ensure that all the potentials and all the currents are applied before you start the test.

4. During the test, do not change the power factor from lag to lead.

5. The Accuchek+ is protected against internal faults by 200mA fuses. If all the connections have been made correctly, and the Accuchek+ still indicates problems in the voltage circuits, it is likely that a fuse has blown. Replace the fuse. Four spare fuses are provided with the Accuchek+. Fuses of 200-mA rating, slow blow 20-mm glass type should be used.

6. There are no user serviceable parts inside the Accuchek+. Do not open and attempt to repair the instrument.

7. The minimum current threshold for the Accuchek is kept 0.6 % of Ibasic. Thus, if the Accuchek+ is operated at the current level below this then it will display missing current in connection check display.

8. The maximum number of tests a user can do without downloading the data into BCS is 200. After 200 tests are done without, downloading an overflow message will be given with a buzzer sound indicating the user to download the data.

9. While entering the CT Ratio, please take care of the fact that CT Ratio is the transformation ratio looking from the primary side of the CT to the secondary of the meter i.e. if the CT is of 100/5 A, then CT Ratio = 20 should be entered.

10. The Test duration must be at least for 5 MINUTES for better metrological performance.

11. The Dosage mode relay contact rating is 240V AC, 5VA always use a interposing relay of coil rating 240 V AC & coil power less then 5 VA while using dosage mode. Such relays are available from OMRON, OEN, PLA make and are locally available in electronics hardware store. Driving directly high current contacts capacity contactors can damage the internal Dosage relay.

Maintenance

Please ensure that the mating surfaces of the jaw of the clamp on ct are free of dirt or foreign matter. In case they are rusted, gently clean with sewing m/c oil or CRC 2-26, to prevent it from corrosion.

Care and precaution in handling of clamp on CTs

The clamp on CTs that provided with your Accuchek is a very important sensing element of the product. It needs suitable care and precaution in handling, in order to maintain its precision and accuracy. Good handling can ensure continued satisfactory operation of your equipment.

The Current Transformer operates by principle of magnetic induction. The current in the primary conductor produces an Ampere-Turn, which is balanced by an equal and opposite Ampere-tur n in the secondary. The secondary current is however not exactly proportional to the primary current due to imperfections in the CT (called as ratio and phase errors). The Accuchek has the intelligence to compensate for these inaccuracies to a great extent. But uncertain errors introduced by varying air gaps in the CT, may exhibit as errors. It is therefore, very important to ensure that the air gap in the CT remains as far as possible constant from usage to the next. Following good practices can help you ensure accurate, precise and reproducible performance of the Accuchek over long periods: -

1. Always keep the jaws of the CT clean. Dust particles can create havoc with the phase error of CTs. It is recommended that the CT be kept away from dust and packed suitably in the case provided after use. In no case should the CT be left in dusty environment for long periods.

2. Ensure that the jaws of the CTs are not rusted. It is recommended to use ordinary pencil erasers for rubbing off minor signs of rust that might appear on the CT jaw faces. However, care must be taken to carefully brush off any remnants of the eraser rubbings from the jaws before use. Do not use water, alcohol, or any other solvents to clean the jaw surface.

3. It is highly recommended to operate the jaws several times before actually starting the tests. This helps in making the swiveling action of the jaws free and reduces variation of air gap from one operation to the other.

4. The air gap in the CTs may be disturbed by unreasonable shocks. Precaution must be taken to prevent any shocks to the CTs.

5. The clamp on CT should be used in the hanging position from the wire

12 Appendix A: Printer Details

1. The printer is to be used free-standing and should be placed on a stable surface providing easy access to the control panel and to the paper well when lid is open

2. Do not site the printer in an exces sively hot or humid location. Exposure to grease, dust, metal scrap or liquids is best avoided.

3. When using the power adopter avoid using a main outlet, which also supplies heavy switching machinery since a noisy supply may impair printer operation.

4. Ensure that the adopter provides the correct operating voltage (when using external adopter)

5. Do not remove paper by pulling it from the back of the mechanism and do not pull excessive lengths through the top of the mechanism. Either of these operations may cause paper to tear and jam the mechanism.

Default Settings

To perform a self-test, press the POWER ON and FEED switch simultaneously and keep depressed until the test starts. This will check all the mechanism and a large proportion of software issue will be printed.

Operating Instructions

1. Lights when the power to printer is ON. In auto power off mode, if no switches are pressed or no data from host for 5-min.

power is automatically turned OFF.

2. Flashes when paper is out. Lift mechanism lever up and insert the top end of the paper into back of the mechanism, then paper will be inserted automatically.

3. Press feed button. If paper is out or lever is down status, do not perform paper feeding.

13 Appendix B: Opto Scanner Details

Introduction: The Accuchek+ Scanner is general purpose sensing device for Disk rotation in Ferraris Wheel Meters &

Calibrating LED pulses in static meters. It has two modes of operation viz. reflective mode and light emitting mode. Operating the miniature toggle switch can change the mode of operation. The sensitivity of the scanner can be adjusted to an optimum value by rotating the potentiometer knob on the front of the scanner.

• Reflective Mode: In this mode the scanner detects the calibration mark on the rotating disk Ferraris meter. It uses a modulated high intensity visible green convergent beam to detect the calibration mark by reflection.

When properly focused on the disk, it can detect the calibration marks accurately, even in the presence of fluorescent & other ambient light conditions.

• Light Emitting Mode: This mode is used with electronic meters with calibrating LED outputs. The light from LED is focused on the wide band photodiode, for detection. The maximum frequency of the output can be as high as 200Hz, unmodulated.

13.1 Optical Specifications:

13.2 Reflective Mode:

• Focal distance for optimum sensing : 25 – 50 mm

• Dominant frequency of Green LED: 570 nm.

• Maximum disk rotation rate: 1cycle / second A Light emitting mode:
