You should be able to:

4. Sketch a function and label critical points (including min, max and inflection points).

5. Use the second derivative test to determine if a critical point is a min or a max.

6. Determine absolute and relative (or local) min or max values for a function.

7. Solve related rate and optimization problems of various types 8. Use differentials to solve problems.

9. Discuss the continuity and differentiability of a function.

10. Use linearization to determine a specific value and be able to explain how this process works.
