SYLLABUS: PROFESSIONAL DEONTOLOGY

Previous Requirements: none GENERAL OBJECTIVES

A. With the teaching in this subject is intended to get students to know the ethical standards that govern the practice of legal professions, anchored in the very nature of the profession of the lawyer.

B. Students should know the fundamental principles of professional ethics in the legal professions and be able to apply them to specific conflicts related to the different legal professions.

C. In the case of the lawyer's ethics, the student should know how to address the Courts, the Public Administrations, his own colleagues and their clients, and know what documentation or confidences they can use and how. You must also know a whole series of rules of courtesy and respect towards the companions that are indispensable for the correct exercise of the profession.

CRITERIOS PARA LA CONCESIÓN DE MATRÍCULA DE HONOR:

La matrícula de honor será concedida a los alumnos cuya calificación global esté por encima de 9.7 y hayan obtenido la máxima calificación en el trabajo de clase. En caso de que concurrieran varios alumnos en igualdad de condiciones se propondrá la realización de un trabajo voluntario o prueba voluntaria y se concederá la matrícula a quien obtenga mayor calificación en él.

Basic concepts of Ethics and its application to the different professional profiles in Law graduates: research and training, development of legal knowledge in the different areas of Law, Administration and Business Management. Existing ethical codes in these areas. Elaboration of a specific ethical code for the professionals in the exercise of Law. Legal ethics:
