Descriptif du cours
Organisations internationales et ordre du monde: les fonctions des organisations internationales dans le système mondial. Le système des Nations Unies comme projet d'intervention dans les relations internationales. Les Nations Unies et la reproduction internationale, l'intégration à l'économie mondiale; l'action au bénéfice de l'accumulation du capital; l'action politique. Les difficultés de la reproduction.

Objectifs
Le système des Nations Unies sera étudié du point de vue de son rôle dans la régulation du système mondial. La création des organisations internationales étant une réponse à l'articulation de plus en plus étroite des états dans le système mondial, c'est l'angle d'attaque le plus intéressant.
Ce cours, il va sans dire, n'épuisera pas les nombreux problèmes soulevés par l'action des organisations du système des Nations Unies dans les relations internationales. En ce sens, il est davantage une introduction. Il poursuit un double objectif. D'une certaine façon, il voudrait sensibiliser et initier les étudiants aux problèmes et aux difficultés de l'analyse politique de la vie internationale. D'un autre côté, il est le lieu d'une réflexion personnelle et collective, sur la régulation du système mondial et le rôle des organisations internationales dans ce procès.

Organisation pédagogique / mode d'évaluation
Lectures
Les étudiants doivent se procurer le recueil de textes disponible à la COOP. Il est fondamental que
les étudiants fassent les lectures recommandées. Ceci pour le bon déroulement du cours et la
préparation des examens.
La lecture de la Charte des Nations Unies est obligatoire. (Celle-ci peut être téléchargée à partir du site de l’ONU).
Organisation du cours
Le cours sera organisé essentiellement autour d’exposés magistraux.

Évaluation 1. Examens :
Deux examens sont prévus : un examen de mi-session et un examen de fin de session. Chaque examen comptera pour 30% de la note finale.
2. Travail individuel de session :
Ce travail compte pour 40% de la note finale. Son but est d’amener l’étudiant(e) à procéder à un examen analytique d’un sujet en rapport avec la matière du cours.
Le choix du sujet accompagné d’une bibliographie commentée devra recevoir l’approbation de l’enseignant au plus tard le 24 janvier 2013.

Règlement no. 18 sur les infractions de nature académique
Tout acte de plagiat, fraude, copiage, tricherie ou falsification de document commis par une étudiante, un étudiant, de même que toute participation à ces actes ou tentative de les commettre, à l’occasion d’un examen ou d’un travail faisant l’objet d’une évaluation ou dans toute autre circonstance, constituent une infraction au sens de ce règlement.
La liste non limitative des infractions est définie comme suit :
la substitution de personnes ;
l’utilisation totale ou partielle du texte d’autrui en le faisant passer pour sien ou sans indication de référence ;
la transmission d’un travail pour fins d’évaluation alors qu’il constitue essentiellement un travail qui a déjà été transmis pour fins d’évaluation académique à l’Université ou dans une autre institution d’enseignement, sauf avec l’accord préalable de l’enseignante, l’enseignant ;
l’obtention par vol, manœuvre ou corruption de questions ou de réponses d’examen ou de tout autre document ou matériel non autorisés, ou encore d’une évaluation non méritée ;
la possession ou l’utilisation, avant ou pendant un examen, de tout document non autorisé ;
l’utilisation pendant un examen de la copie d’examen d’une autre personne ;
l’obtention de toute aide non autorisée, qu’elle soit collective ou individuelle ;
la falsification d’un document, notamment d’un document transmis par l’Université ou d’un document de l’Université transmis ou non à une tierce personne, quelles que soient les circonstances ;
la falsification de données de recherche dans un travail, notamment une thèse, un mémoire, un mémoire-création, un rapport de stage ou un rapport de recherche.
Les sanctions reliées à ces infractions sont précisées à l’article 3 du Règlement no. 18.

6.4 Modalités d'application de l'évaluation et de la notation
a) Si un examen fait partie des modalités d'évaluation, il ne peut intervenir dans le résultat global pour plus de cinquante pour cent (50%). Les autres éléments d'évaluation ne sont pas assujettis à cette disposition ;
b) si l'évaluation porte sur un unique travail de trimestre, la production de ce travail doit donner lieu à plus d'une évaluation et à l'attribution d'une notation d'étape ;
c) au fur et à mesure que sont effectuées les évaluations et notations d’étape, l’étudiante, l’étudiant doit en être informé.
6.9.2 Objet de l’entente d’évaluation
Compte tenu de ces informations, une entente doit intervenir entre la professeure, le professeur, la chargée de cours, le chargé de cours, la, le maître de langues responsable du groupe-cours et les étudiantes, étudiants inscrits à ce groupe-cours sur les aspects particuliers suivants :
a) le nombre et les échéances des évaluations;
b) la pondération respective des contenus ou objets d'évaluation dans l'évaluation globale.
Cette entente doit respecter les modalités et échéances déjà établies, lorsque s'effectue une évaluation commune à plusieurs groupes d'un même cours.
6.9.3 Procédure
Cette entente doit être consignée et doit intervenir dans les deux semaines qui suivent le début officiel des cours (ou dans un laps de temps proportionnel s'il s'agit d'un cours à horaire spécial). L'entente à laquelle souscrivent la professeure, le professeur, la chargée de cours, le chargé de cours, la, le maître de langues et la majorité des étudiantes, étudiants présents doit être signée par la professeure, le professeur, la chargée de cours, le chargé de cours, la, le maître de langues et par deux étudiantes, étudiants du groupe-cours qui agissent alors à titre de témoins.
RAPPEL : À partir de septembre 2014, la réserve des cours en science politique se trouve à la Bibliothèque de sciences juridiques et politiques, Pavillon Hubert-Aquin, local A-2100, au 2e étage.
