De conformidad con las disposiciones del Reglamento de Grados y Títulos de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, me es grato dirigirme a ustedes en su calidad de Jurado de Sustentación; para poner a vuestra consideración y criterio la presente tesis intitulada: “EL SISTEMA DE CONTROL INTERNO BASADO EN EL MODELO COSO EN LA GESTIÓN AMBIENTAL DE LA COMPAÑÍA MINERA PODEROSA S.A. RESUMEN
El presente trabajo de investigación que lleva como título “EL SISTEMA DE CONTROL INTERNO BASADO EN EL MODELO COSO EN LA GESTIÓN AMBIENTAL DE LA COMPAÑÍA MINERA PODEROSA S.A. Y SU INFLUENCIA PARA SU DESARROLLO EN ARMONÍA CON LOS POBLADOS COLINDANTES - PERIODO 2017”, busca brindar conocimientos acerca del Sistema de Control Interno basado en el método COSO y la influencia positiva que este puede generar en la percepción de las comunidades sobre la Gestión Ambiental de una empresa minera.
El tipo de investigación fue no experimental y el tipo de diseño de contrastación fue descriptivo y analítico. Para llevar a cabo este estudio de investigación se realizaron encuestas y entrevistas al personal de la empresa y a los pobladores de Pueblo Nuevo y Vijus. Los resultados obtenidos me permitieron inferir en que actualmente la compañía cuenta con una buena gestión ambiental, sin embargo, existe una falencia en la comunicación entre el área de Gestión Ambiental y las Comunidades Colindantes.
Se llegó a concluir que el Sistema de Control Interno basado en el Modelo COSO si influye positivamente en la gestión ambiental de la Compañía Minera Poderosa S.A., y su desarrollo en armonía con los Poblados Colindantes en el año 2017, ya que nos permite conocer las falencias existentes y tomar medidas con el fin de prevenir riesgos futuros.

ABSTRACT
The present investigation work that takes like title "THE SYSTEM OF INTERNAL CONTROL BASED ON THE COSO MODEL IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY MINERA PODEROSA S.A. AND ITS INFLUENCE FOR ITS DEVELOPMENT IN HARMONY WITH THE COLLABORATING PEOPLES - PERIOD 2017 ", seeks to provide knowledge about the Internal Control System based on the COSO method and the positive influence that this can generate in the perception of the communities on the Environmental Management of a mining company.
The type of research was non-experimental and the type of contrast design was descriptive and analytical. In order to carry out this research study, surveys and interviews were carried out with the personnel of the company and the residents of Pueblo Nuevo and Vijus. The result obtained allowed me infer that the company currently has good environmental management, however there is a lack of communication between the area of Environmental Management and the Adjacent Communities.
It was concluded that the Internal Control System based on the COSO model does have a positive influence on the environmental management of the Compañía Minera Poderosa SA, and its development in harmony with the Adjacent Towns in the year 2017, since it allows us to know the shortcomings exist and take action to prevent future risks.
