Formas el presente progresivo Forma afirmativa
El Presente Progresivo o Continuo es una forma verbal compuesta por el auxiliar TO BE, conjugado de acuerdo sujeto de la frase, y mas la forma del gerundio del verbo principal (V+ing).
I am reading the newspaper.
He is eating a chicken burger.
We are playing tennis.
Forma negativa
Para pasar una oración afirmativa a negativa, se escribe «not» después de «am, is o are»:
Examples:
I am not reading the newspaper.
He is not eating a green burger.
We are not playing tennis.
Forma interrogativa
Dado que el Present Progressive contiene el verbo TO BE como auxiliar, la forma interrogativa se obtiene invirtiendo el orden del auxiliar y del sujeto:
Are you reading the newspaper?
Is he eating a double chicken burger?
Are they playing tennis?
